One Life to Live Recap for Monday, December 20, 2004

Blair goes to see Mrs. Bigalow on the whereabouts of Todd. Mrs. Bigalow, who is going crazy trying to run the paper because Todd is gone, believes that Todd is dead because she knows that he would never leave without saying goodbye to his kids. Mrs. Bigalow is convinced that the only was Todd would not have married Blair was him passing away. Blair doesn’t believe that Todd is dead, but got himself into a load of trouble and had to disappear for a while. Mrs. Bigalow vows to find out the truth.

Margaret has the idea that she will get pregnant with Todd’s baby, then she’ll let him go back to Blair. Todd says that he’ll never sleep with Margaret and never love her child as he does his own. Margaret threatens to go after Starr and Jack if he doesn’t sleep with her. Todd tells her that he’s not in the mood because of the pain in his legs. Margaret reminds him that he doesn’t have to be in the mood, just like Marty Saybrook wasn’t in the mood when he raped her. Margaret decides to leave the cabin and tells Todd to be good while she is gone. Todd unties himself when she leaves and tries to walk to get home to Blair.

Kelly, Babe, and Jamie bring Ace into the emergency room because Ace has a bad temperature. The doctor takes Ace to examine him. A nurse brings over papers for the parents to sign. Babe and Jamie try to make Kelly realize that she has no legal claim to Ace. Kelly, through the death of her own baby, can fully understand that Ace belongs with Babe. The doctor brings Ace out and says that he’ll be fine. Babe lets Kelly hold the baby. Kelly says a tearful goodbye to Ace and then watches Babe, Jamie and Baby James get into an elevator and leave.

Kevin goes to see Bo. Bo, still hostile over his fight with Nora, tries to reason with Kevin. Kevin tells him that Kelly went to go find Ace on her own. Bo wants to call the cops. Kevin says that they can’t. Bo tells him not to forget that he has another son that can’t be neglected. Kevin promises to mend things with Duke. Kevin leaves to find Duke. Bo calls Matt just to say that he loves him. Matt says that he loves his dad too.

Jess gets frustrated with the fact that Antonio is in the room with her and asks him to leave. Antonio asks why. John forces Antonio to leave, Cristian and Nat follow him. John tries to calm Jess down so she can clearly focus on trying to remember who she saw in Tico’s room. Jess honestly can’t remember who it was. John gets a call from forensics saying that the time of death was 8:27pm. John tells everyone that he needs an alibi. Antonio was in the chapel with Adriana. Jess was walking to Tico’s room then fainted. Cris can’t account for where he was. Jess starts to mentally break down and runs upstairs. Antonio tells her that everything will be ok. Cris goes to check on Jess. Nat tells John that she wants him to back off of Jess. John can’t stop investigating the case, no matter who he has to question. Nat wants John out of her house. John thinks that Nat and Cris aren’t exactly living happily ever after and feels that Nat is mad at Cris no him, so he leaves.

Duke meets up with Adriana at Rodi’s. Adriana is sorry that she didn’t call but she didn’t want to give Kevin any ideas of where Duke was. Duke admits that he helped Kelly with what she had to do. Kevin comes over and is glad Duke is home. Duke doesn’t want to fight. Kevin asks if he helped Kelly and if Kelly found Ace. Duke offers Kevin no information.

Meanwhile Antonio shows up and asks Adriana to give him an alibi for the night Tico was killed. Adriana remembers that they were in the chapel but not at 8:30pm. At 8:30pm she was at the coffee shop with Duke. Adriana apologizes but can’t lie and give him an alibi. Duke and Adriana leave together.
