Dorian is trying to construct a store-bought gingerbread house but it collapses as Blair slams the door. Adriana enters the kitchen with the latest copy of Craze – a story has been published about what an evil man Todd is and how he deserves the death penalty for killing a child. Blair is furious and knows of only one person to blame – David. Starr and Jack come into the kitchen, everyone gets ready to attend the tree lighting ceremony at Angel Square. Kevin and Kelly are reading the same article and can’t believe that David would stoop that low and make Blair even more depressed around the holidays. They head over to Llanfare. David runs into Spencer and knows full well that Spencer is behind the article. Spencer denies involvement, David asks Spencer to stop using his past to get back at him. Spencer gets up to leave, laughing the whole way. Renee brings Matt to see David, wherein Matt tells David how sorry he feels for him. Blair finds David and fires him on the spot for writing the article, David denies publishing the story but Blair doesn’t believe him. Rex and Roxy finish up decorating the tree, Mike and Marcie get a chance to talk together. Mike wants another chance with Marcie, before Marcie could answer Hugh interrupts them and takes Marcie away. Lindsay and RJ show up at Angel Square, they both wait to see if Jamie will be there. Antonio goes to the Diner to tell Carlotta that Cris was released from prison and also tells her that Jess is pregnant. Carlotta, Jamie and Antonio make their way to Angel Square. Viki, Clint, Jess and Nat are decorating the tree in Llanfare. Clint goes to answer the door, meanwhile Jess and Nat give Viki a Christmas gift and all three girls make a pact not to talk about their problems that night. Dallas stops by to see Clint, wherein she breaks off their relationship – saying that Clint isn’t giving her what she needs. Kevin and Kelly show up and announce their engagement, they all make their way to Angel Square. Clint stays behind to tell Viki about Dallas. Everyone arrives at Angel Square. Nat sees John and Van talking and assumes they are back together, John asks Van when they can be friends again. Van explains that she can’t just be friends with him yet. Dorian sees Spencer and tells him to stay away from Blair, Spencer makes it clear that he has no intention of doing that. Clint runs into Dorian and they have a laugh again, Kevin and Kelly look on in suspicion. Viki sees it and also wonders why Dorian is cozying up to a Buchanan. RJ and Lindsay take Jamie over to see the tree, Lindsay gives Jamie a locket with a picture of her. Jess meets up with Antonio, Jess feels she should call Nash to let him know what’s going on. Jess calls his cell but can’t get a hold of him and fears that something is wrong. John begins the tree lighting ceremony by throwing the switch. As the lights go on a figure appears behind the tree – Cristian. . .

Nash is still unconscious but is thinking about Tess and spending the rest of his life with her. He wakes up and calls for Tess. Blair sends Todd a card in jail, Todd reads the card and it lifts his spirits a little. Starr and Jack want to go see Todd, but Blair explains the visiting hours are over. Spencer overhears and tells the kids to follow them – he’s got an idea to occupy the kids’ minds. Dorian runs into Blair and Spencer, Spencer goes to help the kids make snowballs for a snowball fight. Dorian warns Blair to stay away from Spencer – warning her that Spencer will hurt her in the end. Blair doesn’t want to listen to Dorian. David shows up and tells Blair the same thing. Blair joins her children in the snowball war so she doesn’t have to listen to Dorian or David. David tries to reconcile with Dorian, but she dismisses him and goes home. Kevin, Kelly and Viki all witnessed Dorian and Clint being friendly together. Viki wonders why, Kevin and Kelly go home to celebrate Christmas Eve together. Nat is hounded by people who are asking if she is ok, Nat tries to hide her emotions but has a blow out in front of everyone. Cris is reunited with his family and swarmed by reporters. Carlotta is so happy to have her family back together. Nat approaches Cris and wants the signed divorce papers, Cris says that he’ll never sign them and wants them still to have the life they dreamed of. Nat walks away, Van goes over to Nat and tries to get her to realize that she’s not the only one going thru tons of emotions right now.
