One Life to Live Recap for the Week of December 5 - December 9, 2005

Dorian pays a visit to Todd, wherein they both realize they have the same goal – keep Spencer away from Blair. Dorian reveals that Spencer is a murderer. Dorian tells Todd that Ginger is dead – at Spencer’s expense. Todd wants to get the low down on Spencer, and he needs Dorian’s help to do so. Dorian plans to do whatever it takes to get the goods on Spencer. Kelly comes in for her surgery, Spencer makes the final preparations. Kelly is put to sleep while Spencer begins the operation. David warns Kevin about the risks of the surgery and begs Kevin not to let Kelly go thru with it. Kevin is sure that Spencer will perform a successful surgery. David calls Duke to tell him about Kelly’s surgery – used as bait to get Duke to the hospital. David breaks into Kevin’s car and then tells him that some kids did it, Kevin leaves to look at his car. Spencer finished the surgery without a hitch. Asa meets up with Duke and tells Duke that he wants the funding from Spencer’s hospital dropped. Spencer tells David, as Duke arrives, that Kelly is ok. David inquires about why he wanted Kevin out of the hospital. Spencer doesn’t give an answer, David has a plan to bring Spencer down – David meets with Asa to discuss Spencer. Duke visits Kelly, who is still a little tipsy, Kevin steps in = Spencer’s plan is to pit Kevin against Duke in a fight over Kelly. Nat meets with Rex o discuss her feelings about John and Cris, Rex knows that Nat loves both John and Cris. Nat wishes that she could turn back the clock and not have anyone to think about but herself. Rex feels that the past is the past. Van meets with Cris to tell him that she has a good feeling about his sentence being overturned. Carlotta and Cris share in an emotional and tearful reunion. Cris asks for forgiveness, Carlotta forgives him and is convinced God forgives him also. She also thinks that Cris and Nat have a chance together, Cris doesn’t think so. John and Hugh go over Todd’s case. Hugh thinks the case is airtight, John seems to disagree. Hugh breaks the news that Nat faxed in her resignation. Van meets with Hugh about the case, Hugh is on Van’s side and wants the conviction overturned just as much as she does. John asks about Cris, Van tells him that he did save Cris’ life. John apologizes to Van for hurting her the way he did. Carlotta runs into Nat, she wants Cris and Nat to get back together. Nat explains that it won’t be that easy, Carlotta reminds her that she made a vow to Cris. Van returns to Cris to tell him that his sentence was not overturned but that doesn’t mean that she will stop until he’s free. Cris promises that no one will keep his locked up. Nat is clearing off her desk and runs into John. . .
