One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, November 17, 2004

Natalie and Cristian catch up. Cristian can’t understand how Jessica wound up with Tico. Natalie careful unspins the story of the Vega-Santi connections and finally informs Cristian that not only is Tico his cousin, but Antonio is Tico’s brother and Cristian’s cousin. Still reeling from that revelation, Antonio arrives at the lodge and the two face either other for only a second before Antonio embraces his long lost brother. It doesn’t take long for Antonio to put on his game face and inform Cristian that they are no longer brothers and that his life has been a lie. But Cristian won’t hear it, they are brothers always. Cristian vows to help Antonio bring Tico to justice. While the three are contemplating what to do next, Antonio tells them that Jessica needs to be brought in. She is in danger and this information is important for her to know.

Blair arrives at UltraViolet to try to talk Riley into playing for Starr’s party. She pulls every string she can, with no success. But, Riley slips up and Blair grabs the opportunity to demonstrate to Riley that she understands and appreciates his music. She performs “Angel of Mine” for him and he finally agrees to the performance. In the wings, Lindsey sees a grateful Blair embrace Riley and comments to Rex about an older woman going after a young man. “Like us” Rex replies. Lindsey insists that their relationship was different. Besides, Rex’s heart belongs to Jen. He insists he would do anything for her, whereupon Lindsey doesn’t skip a beat and proposes that Rex take the wrap for Paul’s murder. “Just about anything” replied Rex and then turns the tables……”What about you?” He asks.

Meanwhile Dorian is looking for Kelly. She arrives at Kevin’s and informs him that she has sent Kelly off to a spa and all communication about Ace should go to her. Kevin is on to her and soon comes to the conclusion that Dorian doesn’t know where Kelly is. He assumes she has a lead on Ace’s mother and is tracking her down. Seeing Dorian’s discomfort, Kevin asks about David and plants some seeds of doubt about David’s fidelity and the possibility that wherever Kelly is, there also is David.

All the while, Kelly and David are headed to Pine Valley to find Krystal with a “K”. So sure are they that Krystal has Ace they talk about taking him back and living happily ever after. They get trapped by dense fog and wind up spending the night in the car, reliving old times and old adventures.

John runs into Evangeline and invites her into his office, whereupon he plants a big one on her. Embraces turn to kisses and next thing you know they are in Evangeline’s apartment making love. Evangeline insists that John figure out his feelings for Natalie as they are getting in the way. John finally insists that Natalie’s welfare is personal for him; after all she lost her husband because of him. He feels a personal responsibility for that. In the middle of their discussion, John gets a call...the murder weapon has been found. After John leaves, Evangeline calls him to tell him she has no regrets.

But John doesn’t get that call right away, duty calls first and his duty is to make an arrest as Dorian is arrested for the murder of Paul Kramer.
