Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Rachael A Ruiz

With a copy of The Banner in hand, Kevin gazes at Ace’s front-page picture and vows to find him. At the Carriage House, Kelly is on the phone attempting to trace the call that Krystal anonymously made to her. Kelly then recognizes Krystal’s voice and after some heart-wrenching thought, finally recollects that she saw her at the coffee house, but all that comes to mind is Krystal’s last name, “Carey”.

Michael and Marcie meet at The Palace. Michael mentions the present he still has for her, but Marcie turns the conversation to her book. Unknown to Marcie, the literary agent is sitting at the table next to theirs and overhears Marcie’s unflattering comments about him.

David arrives at the hospital. He reveals to Dorian that he has been running around town trying to erase any trace of Paul Cramer.

From the patio at Llanfair, Cristian is about to open the French doors leading into the living room, but stops himself from entering as he sees Natalie let John in the front door.

While David and Dorian discuss Paul Cramer, Kelly calls David and tells him not to say who she is, but that she needs to meet with him. David tells Dorian that he has to go to the office then leaves to meet Kelly.

At Lion’s Heart, Sonia shows up and informs Jessica she is in over her head and is concerned for her safety. Jessica smugly asks if she’s telling her this from the kindness of her heart. She pulls out her ID badge and reveals that she is a federal agent with the INL, telling Jessica she is doing her duty. Sonia informs Jessica that she’s been working undercover with the Santi’s for years investigating El Tiburon. Jessica seems relieved to discover that was why Antonio got involved with her right off the bat. Sonia warns that the Santi’s are deadly and cautions her to stop the articles and questions about Tico’s dead fiancée. Jessica is concerned over the possibility of Tico being El Tiburon, and that her marriage has been a lie from the start. Sonia intensely looks at Jessica and warns her, “Tico is dangerous, don’t cross him, and if you do, don’t let him catch you.” Jessica says, “Sonia, I misjudged you and I’m sorry.” Sonia leaves after telling her that she’s just doing her job.

Meanwhile, Tico arrives at Asa’s mansion to discuss Todd Manning with Kevin. Tico drops the news about Todd’s story, accusing that the mishandling of federal relief funds is out of control. He adds that if Brooks refuses to resign they may have to resolve the situation some other way. Adriana shows up. Happy to see Tico, she greets him with a hug. As she turns to Kevin to ask about Duke’s whereabouts, he (Duke) walks in and surprises both Adriana and Kevin.

Viki appears at Dorian’s office door only to find Dorian avoiding taking a phone call from John McBain. She asks Dorian, “Are you avoiding the police for any particular reason?” She then informs Dorian that Natalie was brought in by the police on Paul Cramer’s death. Dorian arrogantly replies, “So Viki, what do you want from me?” With a glaring stare, Viki asks Dorian if she killed Paul Cramer. She then adds, “Because I am not about to let Natalie take the fall for something you did.”

Back at Llanfair John and Natalie continue their conversation. John encourages her to be honest and to tell the truth. Outdoors on the patio, Cristian scribbles something on a newspaper and wrenches in pain after setting the paper down on the ground. Natalie takes a seat and begins to tell John that Paul was becoming a stalker and wouldn’t leave her alone. She explains how Kevin bought Paul a plane ticket to leave town and she went to his room to make sure that he was leaving for good. She then tells John that after staying up all night watching Paul, he came after her and slammed her up against the dresser. At this point it becomes more difficult for Natalie to continue explaining things to John. However, she manages to say that Paul grabbed her after she tried to get away.
