Meanwhile, Gabe is taunting Cole about getting in bed with Starr. Cole doesn’t want to talk about that, but Gabe just keeps at it. Cole takes a swing at Gabe and a fight ensues, a couple people break up the fight. Cole grabs Starr and takes her upstairs, to a bedroom. Starr thinks Cole was brave for standing up to Gabe. Cole kisses Starr and then backs her onto the bed, Starr explains that she doesn’t want to have sex. Cole flips out, throwing things and breaking things cursing out Starr. Van runs into Todd at Rodi’s, wondering why he’s there instead of home. Todd explains that he needed a break from Blair, Van believes that Blair is starting to grow on him again. Todd explains that he is not in love with Blair anymore, and never will be. Todd runs down the list of attributes he wants in a potential new girlfriend, which describe Van. Van explains that she and Cris are doing great, regarding their relationship. Todd confesses that he has something to tell her about Cris’ fight.

Nat doesn’t want to hear anything that Vince has to stay, Vince brings up John’s name and Nat immediately freaks out. She is trying to forget about John and doesn’t want to be reminded of him, especially today. Nat hugs Vince, Cris sees this and breaks them up warning Vince to stay away from Nat. Vince apologizes for the confusion and leaves. Cris reminds Nat that he is there for her if she needs anything. Cris goes to leave, Vince pulls him aside and apologizes again. Cris walks away, Vince calls out that he’s trying to make amends for what he did. Cris doesn’t want to hear anything, until Vince tells him that Todd knew about the fight being fixed. Cris storms out of the reception in search of Todd. Vince goes back to see Nat, Nat apologizes for what Cris did. Vince tells her to shut up and listen to him – he tells Nat that John McBain is alive. . .

Cris finds Todd and Van at Rodi’s, he waits in the background as Todd admits to Van that he knew about the fight being fixed. Van flips out, Cris comes over to calm her down. Todd thought it would be good to get everything about in the open and be honest, after all they are friends. Van wants to know how Todd could be so cruel as to do something like this to the man she loves, when she went up to bet for him after everyone else – including Blair – abandoned him. Todd apologizes for not doing anything, Van explains that they are no longer friends as she storms out. Cris knows exactly why Todd bet against him – it wasn’t to win money, it was to get Cris back because Van loves him and not Todd. Todd refuses to admit that that’s the truth. Clint finds David at the docks contemplating his move. David explains to Clint that he’s moving and leaving Clint to deal with Dorian. Clint would’ve never believed that he and Dorian would ever be an item. David mentions Spencer’s trial, David explains that he wishes he could’ve had a family like the Buchanan’s – saying that he might’ve turned out different.

Clint thinks that David turned out ok as he thanks him for standing up to Spencer the other night. Clint wishes David luck with whatever he does. Rex and Adriana return home, ready to spend a night of passion together. Only they are interrupted by drunken Roxy who only wants to play a board game. Rex toughs it out and literally kicks Roxy out of his apartment. Rex and Adriana are left to spend the night alone. Langston gets worried when she can’t find Starr, she asks Gabe where Starr is. Gabe explains that, with the way Cole is acting, Langston better turn her concerns towards him. Meanwhile, Starr is terrified of the way Cole is acting and runs out the door at her first chance. Cole runs after her wanting to explain. Britney and her friend sneak upstairs and see that the room is trashed. Britney gets an idea – she goes back downstairs to see Cole trying to talk to Starr and Starr wanting nothing to do with him. Britney pretends to be Starr, calls 911 and explains that Cole is on drugs and attacked her. The police show up and arrest Cole.

Nat refuses to believe Vince, Vince explains about the eyes and the John actually saying that he is John. Nat wants to see for herself, Vince takes her to the hospital where they run into Bo and Paige. Paige explains that “Hugh” went into surgery to undergo his first skin graft session, Bo wonders why Nat and Vince are there. Vince explains that he thought it would be good for Nat to see Hugh, Nat explains that she also wanted to see Bo. Nat pulls Bo aside and almost tells him about John, until she overhears Paige saying that the surgery is very risky and the bandages might not be able to come off for a few weeks. Nat runs off and returns to Llanview, where she goes right to the cemetery and begins to dig up John’s grave to see if it really is John inside the coffin. . .
