One Life to Live Recap for Thursday, November 11, 2004

Nat is pacing in her cell. Van comes down to update her on the case saying that John can’t hold her for much longer without a body but the evidence is piling up against Nat. Nat can’t believe that John is holding her in the cell. Van asks how to plead. Nat claims that she is not guilty and begs Van to help her. Van, leaving, promises to do everything in her power to get Nat off. Nat sits thinking about Cristian.

John awakens after being hit over the head after he found Paul’s body.

David meets Dorian at the Palace. Dorian asks why he’s so late and points out that he didn’t come home until after midnight last night. David claims that he had to change a flat tire. Dorian points out the dirt on his jacket, David covers by saying he sat on it while changing his tire. Dorian is worried that the cops will find Paul’s body and her Badrah necklace in the grave. David is sure that that won’t happen. Dorian asks how he can be so sure. John shows up with the necklace asking which one of them dropped it.

Cristian is riding with a lady. He repeatedly thanks her for picking him up. She has no problem with giving him a ride, and she happens to be going through Llanview. Cris uses her cell phone to call Nat but gets her voicemail. The lady offers him a newspaper to catch up on the goings on in Llanview. Cristian sees that Nat is being held for questioning. Cristian uses the lady’s phone again, this time to call Carlotta.

Sonia meets Antonio at the Palace. Tico and Jess enter right after her. Sonia reports that she has no evidence in the killing of Ross. Antonio is still convinced that Tico had something to do with Flynn, the operation of the casino and the murder of Cristian. Sonia says they have no proof. Antonio vows to find proof. Antonio leaves to go talk to Carlotta.

Tico and Jess sit down to eat. Jess keeps looking at Antonio, Tico tells her to go say hello. Jess reminds Tico that he doesn’t have to worry about Antonio because she doesn’t love him anymore. Tico asks Jess why she didn’t come into bed last night. Jess was working on a report on Las Vegas. Tico hopes they can go there for their delayed honeymoon and accidentally reveals that he has been to Vegas but only for a business trip. Tico asks why Antonio was in his house. Jess says that they were just talking about Jamie and he didn’t stay long. Tico points out that things are missing from his desk. Jess doesn’t know what could’ve happened to them. Tico remembers that he has a business meeting with the governor and has to go. Jess goes over to question Sonia about Tico’s past and if she thinks he is El Tiburon or not. Sonia tells Jess that it is none of her business and reveals that Tico was engaged, but his fiancé died in an accident.

Nora and Dan are at the Palace having coffee and talk about their trip to New York. Dan hopes they can take the relationship to the next level. Nora begins to answer but they are interrupted with John questioning David and Dorian. They go over to see what’s going on and find out that John found the body and the necklace and he wants to search Dorian’s house. Dorian tries to say that Paul stole the necklace. John goes in search of a warrant. Dan cancels the trip to New York and follows John.

Outside Dorian thanks David for covering for her but asks why he would move the body. David was trying to protect Dorian. Dorian wonders if David thinks that she killed Paul. David knows that she killed him.

Bo and Matt are talking about their talk they had the other night about the problem that Bo and Nora had. Bo sugar coats it for Matt and tells him not to worry about it. John comes in and asks Bo to issue a warrant. Dan shows up and tells Bo the facts about John going against orders. Dan feels that John gets way too emotionally involved in cases, like Cristian’s death. Van exclaims that she wants Nat released now. Bo and Nora go into his office. Dan tells Van about how John went against procedure to get the evidence. Van asks why he risked his job to save Nat. John brings Van down with him to release Nat. Nat thanks them for everything they did. Van tells Nat that it was all John’s doing and makes a point to stress that John went against the law to collect evidence. Nat tells John that she owes him one as she skips out of the cell. John asks Van how she is.
