One Life to Live Recap for the week of September 25 - September 29, 2006

Rex and Adriana return home, Rex isn’t giving up on finding Todd’s baby. Adriana admires his determination, Rex hops on his computer and surfs the internet for a minute where he gets an idea – check bank records to follow the money. Todd is aggravated over the fact that he won’t be able to find his child. Blair reassures him that Rex will not give up. Todd wants to offer a big reward to any info on his child. Rex calls and fills Todd in on his idea. Rex makes the mistake of revealing where Jess and Antonio’s parties are. Todd plans to go to Antonio’s, while Blair retaliates and goes to Jess. Kevin and Kelly sit with the baby, Kelly explains that she’s going to Dorian’s when she is allowed to take the baby home. Kevin explains that he wants to be apart of Zane’s life. Kelly thinks that they could amicably raise the baby. Kevin asks Kelly to move back into the carriage house. Kelly promises to think about it, they share a kiss. Kevin asks if there is a chance for them to get back together, Kelly explains that if they do get back together they can’t stay in Llanview because of all the horrible memories.

Antonio runs into Cris and Clint, where Clint and Cris explain that they just talked to Nash and he sounded drunk. Antonio doesn’t believe that Nash is drunk but Cris convinces him that it would be better to check on Nash rather than have Nash show up and crash the wedding. When they get to Nash’s vineyard, Antonio is surprised with a bachelor party. It isn’t very big, just the 4 guys and a fire. They all sit around the fire and try to talk, but they have nothing to talk about. Instead they play a drinking game with cards. Clint makes a toast for Antonio, Todd shows up & invited himself in. Rex follows Todd in and apologizes for telling Todd. Antonio doesn’t want Todd to stay but Todd thinks Jess would want him to be there. Antonio lets Todd stay, Cris makes a toast. Nash clinks glasses with a hint of disappointment in his face. Viki, Nat and Jess talk about the wedding, Roxy shows up and reveals that they are having a surprise bachelorette party. They all order drinks, Jess wants a drink that Tess would’ve had and Viki notices that Jess is showing more and more of Tess’ preferences.

Nat and Roxy go to the bar, Jess admits that she’s concerned that Tess’ feelings for Nash will impede her feelings for Antonio. Viki assures Jess that everything will be ok. Blair shows up as Nat and Roxy return with drinks. Adriana shows up in time for a toast, then Jess starts to open her gifts. After that, the party dissipates, Jess “tells” Tess that she is to stay away from the wedding tomorrow. David goes to check on Paige and Hugh, David explains that Spencer is not a Buchanan. Paige laughs, knowing Spencer was wrong all those years. Paige asks David to sit with Hugh while she leaves for a few minutes. David apologizes to Hugh for making him sign the power of attorney over Spencer. Hugh wakes up and tries to unwrap the gauze from his face. David tells Hugh about Spencer & John dying in the pile-up, Hugh wriggles around trying to speak – saying “no!”. David apologizes for upsetting Hugh, David leaves to let Hugh rest. With David gone, Hugh says: “I’m not Hugh.”

Nat goes to see Nash, to remind him not to do anything at the wedding to bring Tess out. Nash assures her that he will do no such thing. As Nat is leaving her, literally, runs into Vince. Nash hands over what he owes Vince and explains that he wants nothing more to do with Vince. Nat figures out that, along with being a cheat, Vince is a loan shark as well. Vince tries to deny it, asking Nat why she has this negative feeling towards him. Nat walks away, saying nothing. Vince storms off just as Nash returns to the house. Nash has vision of Tess telling him to stop the wedding and figure out a way to bring her back out. Vince goes to check on Hugh, wherein he explains that he confessed for setting Cris up because Nat got to him and basically convinced him to confess. Hugh squirms around a bit, the nurse comes in and explains that Hugh was wriggling around like that when she was reading aloud about the Buchanan/Vega wedding.

Vince thinks that it’s time for him to go, the nurse mentions something about Hugh opening his blue eyes this morning. Vince knows that Hugh doesn’t have blue eyes. Kevin and Kelly are looking over Zane, discussing their possible move out of Llanview. Dorian shows up, Kevin explains that he needs to get to the wedding. Before Kevin leaves, he leaves Zane a picture of Duke and Kelly. With Kevin gone, Kelly and Dorian watch over Zane. Kelly lets Dorian hold the baby, Dorian explains that she has to take care of an errand and rushes off. Kelly props the pictures up so Zane can look at them, explaining that the pictures are of his mom and dad – she also explains that, since Duke isn’t there anymore, she has someone else in mind to help raise Zane. Clint arrives at Llanfair, Viki is looking at old pictures of her and Jess when Jess was a baby. Jess and Adriana come down the stairs and rush into the library to get ready.

Clint checks on Jess, Jess has her doubts about the wedding but Clint assures her that everything will be fine. Clint leaves to go to the church. Nat shows up, she and Adriana get changed into their dresses. Viki checks on Jess, Jess is scared that Tess will return and ruin the wedding – much like Niki ruined Clint and Viki’s wedding. Viki explains that, at that time she wasn’t integrated, whereas Jess is fully integrated. Nat and Adriana return to the library and give Jess a few gifts before she walks down the aisle. Viki leaves for the church while Jess changes into her wedding gown. Nat and Adriana await as Jess dons her wedding gown, Jess glances at herself in the mirror and makes a few changes to the dress – taking off the veil and removing a piece of lace (causing the neckline to plunge). Nat and Adriana both realize that Jess is really starting to look like Tess. Jess explains that she is not Tess and Tess will NOT be making an appearance today.
