Mike explains that the baby is alive and rushes the baby to the neonatal ICU. Dorian, Clint and Viki rush into the room. Dorian stays with Kelly until Mike returns. Mike explains that every premature baby has an uphill battle, Mike also explains that their baby has about a 25% chance of survival. Kelly asks everyone to leave, but Kevin, so they can talk. Kelly and Kevin pray that their baby is ok, they discuss possible names for the baby and decide on Zane. Nat goes to see Hugh, she is greeted by Vince who wants to know why she’s there. Nat doesn’t know exactly why she’s there – but it has something to do with Hugh and John being in the same accident. Vince explains that he and Hugh go back to college, where they were roommates, Nat doesn’t think that Vince and Hugh have anything in common. They get into an argument, which leads to Vince storming out of the room. Nat turns to leave but thinks that she hears something, when she realizes that it was nothing she leaves. Hugh stirs awake and opens his eyes. . .

Nat and Cris are just about to tell Antonio that Vince confessed when Vince bursts into Antonio’s office and confesses himself, Vince sits down to sign a confession. Cris calls Rex to let him know – Rex in turn tells Layla. Layla rushes to the police station. Cris wants to know why, all of a sudden, Vince confessed. Vince explains that Nat made him see what he did was wrong and wants to make things right. Antonio explains that Vince will be charged with attempted murder, assault and threats. Antonio takes Vince to his holding cell, Layla and Cris think that the charges are a little more severe than they should be. Meanwhile, Adriana tells Rex that she had an idea – she is going to design men’s underwear. Rex is against it at first, Adriana explains that this will be her way at getting back at Dorian – instead of going out for “blood,” Adriana will design fashion – hoping to compete with Craze.

Adriana wants Rex to model for her, Rex refuses until Adriana mentions that she could get someone else to do it for her. Rex quickly dons a pair of briefs as Adriana gets to work on more designs. Kelly, Kevin, Viki, Clint and Jess gather around as they hear the doctor’s prognosis. The doctor explains that he’s seen babies in worse condition – born 24 weeks, just like Kelly’s. the doctor goes on to explain that they all need to wait. Viki, Clint and Viki thank the doctor as they leave. Kevin and Kelly go in to see Zane, as they walk in the heart monitors begin to beep. The doctor explains that Zane’s heart rate is declining steadily, almost as if he’s “letting go.” Kevin wants to hold the baby, as he is holding Zane, Kevin tells the baby what a good father he had. Kevin promises to be there for the baby, he also “tells” Zane to look inside himself and find strength – like Kelly has. Zane’s heart rate begins to increase. Nash runs into Claudia at the coffee house, wherein she tries to dissuade him from going to the wedding.

Nash understands that he can’t marry Tess because she is no longer a separate person. Claudia wonders how Jess will react seeing Nash there, Jess overhears this and tells Claudia not to worry about her. Claudia takes off before another fight ensues. Nash apologizes to Jess and promises that nothing will happen at the wedding concerning him trying to coax Tess out. Jess thanks him as she holds his hand, Claudia sees this. David goes to see Spencer and thinks that he’s got something figured out – David thinks that Spencer hates him because Spencer was never part of a real family. Spencer doesn’t let David get under his skin as David tries to taunt Spencer about never having a family to depend on. Bo shows up and tells Spencer that the DNA results are in and that, seeing as how Asa can’t leave the house, Bo has to escort Spencer to the mansion. David tags along. Viki and Clint go to see how Asa is doing, Asa just wants everything settled so he can get back to his life and his family – explaining that Spencer is not his son. Clint hopes that Asa is prepared for the worst. Bo brings Spencer in, Asa stands up to look Spencer in the eye. Bo hands over a copy of the DNA results, sealed in an envelope. Asa throws his on the ground as Spencer looks at Asa and calls him “Pa”. . .

Marcie is getting ready to help Sue teach when Principal Wexler explains that Sue had her baby this morning. Marcie thinks that class will be canceled but Wexler asks Marcie if she’ll stay as a permanent sub – until Sure returns. Marcie refuses at first because of Tommy, but can’t resist the offer as Wexler amends the schedule to fit Marcie’s schedule. Class starts to file in, Wexler sees Starr and Britney and demands that they follow her to her office.
