One Life to Live Recap for Friday, October 29, 2004

At Llanview, Jessica arrives in response to a phone call about Natalie. Soon afterwards, Tico arrives, and asks why she is there. Tico wants Jessica to join him at Kevin's press conference, but Jessica wants to wait for Natalie, who has been out of control lately.

Carlotta arrives at Llanfair to pick up Jamie, who has spent the night there with Vicki. Jessica is happy to know Jamie is there, and Tico is more eager to vamoose. Jessica takes a stand and even though Tico is not pleased, he rescinds and is sweet about it.

Vicki and Carlotta have an interesting conversation, about Natalie and how she pushed everyone away after Christian's death. Have faith, her son will come back. Viki is talking about Antonio, of course, but as fans, we know that Christian is indeed returning to OLTL and Llanview. [Yeeaahh.]

Carlotta leaves Llanfair with Jamie after she and Viki reminisce a little about their children. Natalie and Antonio have got to figure out who they are for themselves, Viki says.... Carlotta is afraid it will take a miracle to bring Antonio back to her.

Back at Llanfair, Jessica doesn't want to leave, but when Vicki heads out, Jessica announces that she will wait there for Natalie. Tico, who has been eager to leave with Jessica ever since he got there, is even more eager and adorably annoyed when she decides to stay. But cool and polite when they agree that Jessica will join him at Kevin's press conference after she has the chance to speak with Natalie.

Kevin and Kelly have it out in Paul's vacant hotel room. Kelly is stronger than ever and Kevin basically threatens her and says to wait until after the election to come clean about Ace. lt actually seems as if he wants to keep Ace after that too. Kelly says "I was alone when we lost our child, and I made it through that..." and "I would have told you if you wouldn't have left me but that's exactly what you did." Indeed, how true!

Kelly, who recently learned Ace was not the son of a homeless woman, wants to make it right. Kevin sarcastically mentions David Vickers to Kelly. Kevin, obviously scared Kelly won't wait until after the election, argues with her over who was more sadistic, himself or Kelly for having lied to him about Ace in the first place (he had been chomping at the bit for Blair back then, if you recall...). Kevin argues to keep Ace, and it seems as if Kelly relents, and as they won't solve anything tonight, they agree to leave it alone. Kevin doesn't even walk her to her car, leaves in another direction, and Kelly quietly goes back into Paul's room after Kevin has left.

Later, Kevin calls Duke from the press conference and "wants a phone call." No family is there until Tico shows up. Jessica is expected to join them there, he tells the press.

David and Dorian play musical guns. David takes one from Dorian, but Dorian wipes David's prints from it and puts it in the 'safe.' Then Dorian makes David a drink. Later at La Boulet, David hides a gun in the desk. Adriana later mentions her anxiousness about guns in the house to Dorian.

Natalie is found by John at Christian's grave. Still covered in blood, she lies about having fallen. John takes her to Llanview, after having already stopped at the hospital (off screen). Natalie (recently accused by Jen of getting Christian 'murdered', has been out of sorts, but happy to have been rescued by John.) Once back at Llanview, Jessica finally gets the chance to talk to Natalie. They thank John, who leaves, and Natalie, although now bandaged on the temple, maintains the story about falling.

When Antonio arrives home to the loft, Sonia is waiting for him. Antonio wants to study the paper and read up on what Todd Manning has to say on politics. Later, Antonio and Sonia are discussing business, when they are interrupted by Viki, who has stopped by Antonio's loft.

Viki mentions Natalie's relapse into Christian's death and Jessica's 'dubious' marriage to Tico. But Viki wants to talk about 'Ben!' (Recall: Antonio shot Ben in the head just before he went into the coma (the actor left to appear on 'Life with Bonnie') one year before his heart was harvested for Viki- Ben had last awoke for Valentine's Day, 2003)
