Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Michele Giusti, for About.com

Marcie and Michael meet at Rodi's to celebrate Marcie's birthday. Marcie leaves to look for Jen, who was expected to join them. Meanwhile, at the Love Shack, Jen is trying to get away from Paul, who reeks of alcohol and is angry with Jen for tricking him. Paul is on the edge of losing it and mutters about broken promises, how he risked everything for Kelly, and how he is so unappreciated.

John and Kevin run into each other at the gym. John calls him "A regular guy candidate, working out with the common man." Kevin states he is pushing for budget increases for local law enforcement, and then proceeds to mention how he wants slime like Paul Kramer off the street and suggests John speak to Natalie about her involvement with Paul.

Kelly visits Natalie at Rodi's to discuss Paul. Kelly asks Natalie to talk to Paul about his leaving town. Natalie is suspicious, but eventually admits she knew Paul was trouble, but that it was about her feelings for someone else. Kelly gives her sympathy for what happened to Christian. Natalie, surprised at this, pretends that it was Christian who she was referring to.

David tries to stop Dorian from leaving La Boulet with a gun. Dorian admits she plans to only scare Paul. David remembers, with fondness, the first time they met, at Statesville prison, Dorian was in bright orange, prison polyester, and it was the most romantic moment of his life. He doesn't want her back in prison. David reminds her that the gun is registered in her name. He tells her that he will handle Paul. Dorian concedes.

Tico visits Antonio at the loft to confront him. "If you are going to make accusations, come to me, leave my wife out of it," he states. They discuss the letter written by their father and how their father wanted to leave the family business to Antonio, not Tico. Tico, cool as can be, agrees how their father would see that only Antonio "was cold enough and cruel enough for the job." Tico calls the concept that he killed their father nonsense and the letter pure fantasy, and that he (Tico) has no interest in that world.

Paul is scary, and Jen is trying to fight him off. Marcie comes into the Love Shack and finds Paul groping Jen. Marcie saves Jen by chasing off Paul. She tries to find out why Jen is still so upset and after hearing that Jen and Riley broke up, asks Jen how Paul could make her feel so worthless.

Antonio asks Tico why he was flew from Madrid to Puerto Rico the night before their father was murdered, as discovered by the airport surveillance tapes. Tico calls Antonio 'proud' that their father chose him to lead their gang of thieves and killers. "No wonder Jessica turned to me," he eloquently states.

In profile, face to face, Antonio says to Tico that all he is concerned about is Jessica's safety. Antonio shows Tico the minidisk of pertinent information, invaluable to the Santi organization. Tico, undaunted, decides to gloat a bit about his new wife waiting for him at home, and how when they are together, they have everything they could ever want or need. Antonio is not baited by this, but waives and then cracks the minidisk. He then throws it at Tico, who is off screen, and says he will break Tico the same way. Tico is cool, but under the surface is very disturbed, and he then leaves the loft. Afterwards, Antonio checks his computer to find the real minidisk.

Kelly recalls how Paul came forward about Ace ("I stole Ace for you Kelly... I lied.... I know exactly who the mother is and where to find her.") and wonders if it can be true. Natalie agrees to talk to Paul on Kelly's behalf. In comes John, Natalie lies to him about what she and Kelly were talking about. Natalie tries to explain to John why she kissed him. To avoid the subject of her often going after other women's men, she says she hasn't been sleeping well. Natalie says she will stay away from Jen and also from Paul.

David tracks down Kevin at the gym, and tells him that Paul recently came forward about where he got Ace--that Paul stole Ace and now the mother wants him back. Kevin doesn't think that anyone will believe Paul. Kevin says he has to figure out a way to shut down Paul permanently. Kevin is righteous, and calls his ex-wife David's 'girlfriend'. David is so ticked he responds by pushing Kevin, who flails hard against a locker.
