One Life to Live Recap for Monday, October 18, 2004

Todd picks up Starr from a class trip and her teacher refuses to let her leave with him. Apparently, Blair forgot that she had a restraining order against Todd and Starr was completely embarrassed. Blair arrives and smoothes things out with Starr’s teacher. Todd spontaneously proposes that he and Blair forget the big wedding and get married right away at the justice of the peace! Natalie returns Dorian’s jewelry that she found in the dumpster at Rodi’s to John at the police station. She tells him that Antonio was very supportive of her after Cristian died and she would like to return the favor. David shows Kelly the jewelry he bought for Dorian to replace what was stolen and they share an awkward moment as David fastens the necklace around her neck. He tells her that Kevin was a fool for letting her go. Kelly attempts to discuss what exactly is happening between her and David but David reassures her that they are just old friends.

Antonio catches Dorian in his motel room and she asks him what he is planning on doing with the money. Dorian happily agrees to take it off his hands since he does not want it. She warns him that if he continues down the path he is on, he will end up just like his father. River goes to the diner to look for Jen who was supposed to meet him for dinner. However, Jen is at the Lantano Motel with Paul, as part of their agreement so that the tape of Lindsay and Rex stays private. Jen asks Paul to get some ice from the ice machine and locks him out of the room. As she digs around for the tape, and flings open the door – Paul returns and demands to get the party started. Jen secretly drugs him and Paul lets it slip that he was “just trying to help Kelly” Jen tries to get him to tell her what he has done but he wouldn’t ‘fess up. As the drug kicks in, Paul passes out and Jen makes a run for the door. Out in the hallway, she runs into none other than Riley, who was tipped off by Natalie as to Jen’s whereabouts. On the other side of the door, Paul calls out to Jen to come back to bed and Riley completely misunderstands.

Kevin tells Duke to stay away from Adriana but Duke tells his father that he is an adult and would hang out with Adriana even more if he could – but he does not want to cause any more trouble with Dorian. Natalie overhears John telling Evangeline how nice it will be to have someone to come home to. Later at the diner, Nat runs into Kevin and thanks him for paying Paul to leave town but questions his motives – was it campaign related and did Paul have something on Kevin? Antonio discovers a list on the laptop of the world’s most powerful people that El Tiburon was attempting to get to know. Dorian picks up her jewels at the police station and returns to her house just as David and Kelly are caught in an interesting position – what looks like an attempted kiss was just David trying to see what was “stuck” in Kelly’s eye – but to Dorian it looked like more than that!
