Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Jennifer Faulkner

Bo tells Nora not to give up on Daniel. Lindsay tells Nora that she should warn Daniel to run for the hills because even if Nora does have a relationship with him, Bo and Nora’s connection will get in the way. Because Paul tried to rob the gallery, Lindsay decides to apply for a gun permit. Unfortunately, Bo tells her that she’s not qualified for a gun because she has a prior conviction, and she should have called the police if someone broke into her gallery. She leaves flustered.

David tells Dorian that he has a copy of the key that was stolen from her safe. She asks if he made a copy because he planned to search for the fortune himself. He insists that he loves her and he wouldn’t ever leave her for the money. After some initial bickering, they both suspect that Paul robbed the safe.

Sonia says the INL checked Tico’s story, and it looks like Isabela really was El Tiburón. Antonio won’t hear it because he knows El Tiburón is alive and wants the contents that Antonio stole from Dorian’s safe. He tells her that he set up a meeting with El Tiburón tomorrow, but he wants Sonia to go in his place while he goes to New York to get the contents of the safe deposit box. She says when everything is over, she wants to start a life with him.

John and Evangeline grow closer. He coaches her on football, although she accidentally tosses the ball into the water, she lets him know how much fun she had with him at the game. John says that she surprised him, and she surprises him again when she agrees to go to another game. Their conversation turns to racial issues, and they both agree that their different races don’t hinder their relationship. John says he’s never looked at her like she’s any different than him. She goes home with him for the night.

Although Paul disgusts her, Jen agrees to sleep with him so that he won’t plaster her mother’s porn flick all over the Internet. She says Riley can never know. When Paul gets a call from Dorian, he tells Jen he’ll see her soon. “Oh, you will? And why in the hell will you be seeing her soon?” asks Riley who has just wandered into Capricorn.

Daniel sheepishly interrupts a conversation between Bo and Nora, and he apologizes to Nora for being so stubborn about her and Bo. He knows she couldn’t help breaking their previous dates. He invites her to dinner, and meanwhile, Bo calls Asa’s doctor and asks her out. When Bo learns that Daniel and Nora will be eating at the Bayberry, he jokingly promises not to come within 5 miles of the Bayberry so that he won’t interfere with Nora and Daniel’s date.

Rex implies to RJ that he thinks RJ trashed the Love Project site, and he wants RJ to drop the public nuisance charges against Natalie and set Rex free of his debt. Rex says he set up a personal surveillance camera at the construction site, and he can mail it to the cops whenever he wants.

At John’s apartment, he and Evangeline make love sensuously. Afterward, in the quiet of the night, and with John holding her, Evangeline asks, “Is it just me, or did things get WAY better when we attached some strings?” John answers, “It’s not just you.”

When Paul arrives at Dorian’s, David attacks him from behind. With a chokehold on Paul, David asks where the money is that Paul stole from the safe. Dorian searches Paul’s wallet, but she doesn’t find anything. Paul leaves in a huff after convincing them that he didn’t steal from them.

Jen tells Riley that Paul only wanted to pump her for information about Natalie because he wants to get back together with her. Riley tells Jen that he found an apartment, and he wants her to move in with him. She smiles and tells him that she needs him so much right now, but he senses that something is wrong. When he asks, Jen says she’s just tired.

Nora and Daniel go to Capricorn when they learn that seats aren’t available at the Bayberry. When they are seated, they see Bo and Dr. Miller at a table nearby.

RJ gives Lindsay a gun when he learns that she can’t get a gun permit. At the train station, Angelina appears to Antonio and tells him that no one is safe from Tico. Alone, Sonia wonders if Tico really could be El Tiburón.
