One Life to Live Recap for the Week of October 10 -October 14

Nat tells John about Van’s plan to represent “John Doe” and have his sentence overturned. John tries to understand why, Nat is beside herself wondering why Van would do that. Nat thinks that Van needs psychiatric help, John gets Nat to understand that Van is doing this as part of her job not out of personal vendetta against Nat. John feels that “John Doe” is securely behind bars for a long time. Van meets with Cris and is fearful that Carlo might attack him after learning that Carlo tried to kill him. Cris tells her that he overturned the programming that Carlo implanted in his head. Cris shows Van that note that Carlo slipped in his book, Van tells him to watch his back from now on. Van leaves Cris and interrupts John and Nat’s conversation. Kevin and Kelly show up to give blood, Kelly approaches Spencer about postponing the surgery. Adriana think Duke just did it to get back at her, she is more mad at Ginger than Duke. Duke swears that it meant nothing, Adriana tells him not to worry about it. Adriana tells Ginger to stay away from Duke, Ginger is prepared to put up a fight for Duke. Spencer sees Ginger and approaches her, Spencer explains that they both want the same things and should work together to get what they want.

Duke, Kelly and Kevin sit down to talk – Duke still feels weird around Adriana but is confident that he’ll get over it. Kelly sees Spencer to ask about the procedure, Spencer tells her that the procedure can’t be completed for a few months. Kevin tells Duke about the procedure being postponed. Ginger confronts Duke about the kiss, Duke is glad he told Adriana. Antonio calls Layla to tell her that he was arrested, Layla promises to report to the station. Antonio tells an officer that Nash has his girlfriend, Layla and Jamie show up. Antonio is released, Nash arrives at the station but misses Antonio. Jess stumbles into the restaurant that Layla and Jamie just left, she sees the “missing person” poster. Jess calls the number on the poster, Antonio rushes to the restaurant and is reunited with Jess. They leave for Llanview. . .

Carlo taunts Cris a little more before making plans with a guard to kill Cris. Rex brings in an eyewitness that says he saw a red-haired woman with some guy. Bo meets with the guy, Denton overhears Rex saying he has an eyewitness. Bo gets the exact date that the “woman” was last seen and he got a good look at who the man was. Bo gets the man to see a sketch artist. Bo watches as the sketch artist draws the face. Todd and Blair return home to find Viki there, Viki is upset after hearing about the woman that was found. Viki thinks someone knows who the lady is. Todd doesn’t want to talk about it, Blair can’t believe that someone would murder a little baby. Blair goes to get Viki water, Viki asks Todd if the body is Margaret’s. Todd doesn’t want to talk about Margaret and won’t live in fear of her anymore. Todd answers his phone, Blair presses Viki about telling her Todd’s secret. Viki doesn’t want to get in the middle, Todd returns and Blair goes upstairs. Todd tells Viki to stop mentioning Margaret. Viki thinks Bair should know the truth, Viki leaves. Todd leaves for his office, Blair searches his computer for answers to her questions, but finds none. Blair searches his coat and finds a carwash receipt. Todd returns home, Blair questions the receipts date – September 19th when the had the car washed a day before. Denton calls Todd to tell him about the eyewitness. Van wants to talk with John, Nat thinks that John is partnering up with Van to get “John Doe” released. John asks Nat to give them a few minutes, Nat leaves. Mike sees Hugh and Marcie at the blood drive and his jealousy increases upon seeing them together. Mike repeatedly and deliberately stabs Hugh with the needle. Marcie heard the whole thing and accuses Mike of hating Hugh. Hugh is done giving blood and passes out. Marcie splashes water on him to wake him up, Mike enjoys it too much. A nurse asks Mike on a date, Mike accepts. Van expresses her concern over getting Cris out as soon as they can or he might turn up dead, she tells him about Carlo’s plan. John doesn’t want to get more involved that he all ready is. Van gives John the note Cris gave her, John thinks he can get Cris out of his cell and to a safer place. Rex and Nat show up at the blood drive. Rex expresses interest in becoming part of the police force. Nat tells Rex she is starting to worry about the case John and Van are working on. Viki returns home, Antonio calls her to tell her about finding Jess. Nat returns home tells Viki that she doesn’t want to lose what they have because of someone else. Rex returns to Bo’s office and notices the drawing, he and Bo stare at it to see if they recognize who it might be. Cris gets a cellmate, ‘Hatchet.’ A guard fills Hatchet’s head with the thought of killing Cris. Cris tries to defend himself but Hatchet restrains Cris and the guard beats him up. . .
