One Life to Live Recap for the Week of October 3 - October 7

Blair and Todd plan a special day together – Blair can’t help but think Todd is holding something from her about Margaret. Todd tells her to forget about Margaret for good. Todd goes over to see Viki, Blair vows to find out what Todd is hiding from him. Viki still feels that Todd is holding something back, Blair overhears Viki and asks Viki about Todd’s little secret. Viki simply can’t break Todd’s confidence. Todd thinks that a vacation will help them forget about Margaret. Antonio, Jamie and Layla head to California to find Jess. Layla tells Antonio she realizes why it’s so important for him to find Jess. Antonio is just trying to help Jess, Layla feels that Jess doesn’t want his help because she took off. Tess goes to a free clinic to find out information on abortion, the nurse tries to talk her into adoption. The nurse informs Tess that she is 8 weeks into the pregnancy, Tess realizes that the baby could be Jess and Antonio’s. Tess feels overwhelmed and doesn’t want to take responsibility for having a child – because “bad things happen to defenseless kids.”

Cris tells Van that the man who set him up is imprisoned with him and knows about his meetings with Van. Van wants to know the name, Cris says it’s Carlo Hesser. Van tells Cris to focus on his safety at the moment, keep Carlo at bay. A guard pays a visit to Carlo and tells him about Cris’ meeting with Van. Bruce pops in to see Nash with good news – the contract to finalize the deal for the vineyard. Nash pays Bruce the money he owes and signs the contract. Bruce reveals that Nash has a huge hidden bank account, he also reveals that Nash likes to make women have mental breakdowns because of the way he treats them. Bruce can see a similarity between the way Nash treated his last girlfriend, Claudia, and Tess. Nash claims that he’s a changed man and won’t do what he did to Claudia to Jess. Bruce leaves a report on the info he found on Jess. Tess returns home, Nash can see that she’s stressed and wants to know why. Nash steps outside and Tess calls the clinic back to make an appointment to have an abortion. Van shows up to see John and tells him about Cris wanting an appeal and Carlo as the prime suspect for the brainwashing scheme. Nat wants to know what they are talking about. A guard brings Cris to see Carlo, Carlo tells Cris that he knows Cris knows who he really is and what he wants to do. Carlo wants to move onto the next “phase” of their game. Cris takes his makeshift knife and threatens Carlo’s life. Carlo admits that he did brainwash Cris and says a few key words to make Cris’ head spin. A fisherman finds the body of a pregnant woman floating in the Llantano River. . .
