One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, September 29, 2004

Marcie and Mike are preparing for Eric’s arrival. Riley and Jen asks Marcie if she’ ok with Eric visiting. Marcie reveals that she’s nervous because her dad is also coming. Mike says the dinner is going to be a disaster. Eric shows up and Marcie introduces him to Jen and Riley. Eric can see that Marcie is uneasy and asks if she still supports him. Marcie goes to answer a knock at the door without answering Eric. Marcie’s dad has arrived. He stands in the doorway and stares at Eric. Riley and Jen take off. Eric and his dad begin to argue about his marrying James. Marcie asks her dad not to turn his back on Eric. Mr. Walsh loves all his children but if Eric goes through with the wedding he won’t be part of it. Eric reminds his dad that he always told his kids to be happy, and he is happy with James. Mr. Walsh leaves.

Adriana and Duke are talking. Duke asks her why she’s not dating anyone. Adriana doesn’t want to talk about River and asks Duke what makes him happy. Duke always thought that being a businessman is what Kevin wanted but he wants to work with animals. Duke reveals that Adriana makes him happy too. Adriana says she should get home before Dorian gets mad. Duke asks her to join him at the diner for dinner. Adriana accepts after some coaxing from Duke.

Kelly is surprised to see Viki at the gala. Viki, again apologizes for Kevin’s actions. Kelly hands over her wedding ring. Viki offers Kelly a job fundraising for Llanview University. Kelly says she’ll think about it.

Dorian can’t believe that Kevin is hanging around with Governor Brooks again. David is convinced that there is something funny going on with the whole Kevin being re-elected plan. David and Dorian are dancing. Dorian breaks away to say her goodbyes. Kelly and David make chitchat. Dorian comes over to say that Adriana isn’t home. David runs to get the car. Kelly tells Dorian about Viki’s offer. Dorian offers her a job at the hospital. Kelly believes that the university is better for her. David tells Kelly that he has to take her home because Dorian got word of Adriana and Duke being at the diner.

Blair tells Antonio that they had an accident with their car. Todd and Blair leave. Blair wants Todd to go to hospital. Todd doesn’t want to go but wants to go someplace where he can be seen. Blair and Todd show up at the diner. Todd brings out the documents her stole. Blair can’t believe that he took them as she reads over them. Todd wants info. on Kevin. Blair warns him that he better stop with his vendetta against Kevin or he won’t like what she’ll do to him. Todd agrees to stop lashing out against Kevin if it’ll mean losing Blair. Kevin comes in. Blair and Todd begin to leave but Kevin comes over and warns them to stay away from Asa. Todd tells him that won’t be a problem. Todd and Blair leave. Kevin finds the papers Todd stole from Lion’s Heart. Blair tells Todd she’s very proud of him for not starting with Kevin.

Roxy and Paul are walking thru Angel Square. Paul is telling Roxy about his problems. Roxy tells him not to worry about it as she heads back to the Love Shack. Lindsay comes walking by and Paul persuades her to have dinner with him. Jen and Riley overhear them. Jen can’t believe that Lindsay is that lonely and wonders if Lindsay is making the noises to drive her out of the Love Shack. Riley laughs at her.

Dorian catches Adriana and Duke coming out of the diner and asks Duke why he didn’t take Adriana home. Duke took her out for pie. Dorian tells Duke to run along and she’ll bring Adriana home. Duke takes off. Dorian tells Adriana that she is forbidden to see Duke because he is Kevin’s son. Adriana tries to explain that Duke is nothing like Kevin but Dorian insists that they don’t see each other.
