Antonio sees Nash and Jess sitting at the bar, Jess orders her and Nash a drink and they down a shot together. Antonio approaches inquiring why Jess is drinking shots, knowing that Jess hates vodka shots. Nash explains that vodka was Tess’ favorite drink. Antonio wants to leave, but Jess wants to have a dance. They dance as Nash and Claudia watch them. Antonio thinks it’s time to go, they leave. Nash orders drink after drink, until the bartender cuts him off. Claudia tells Nash that he’s got to realize Tess is gone, Nash explains that seeing Antonio with Jess is just like seeing him with Tess. Nash wants to drive home, but Claudia takes the keys from him. Claudia helps Nash into his apartment as Nash barely stumbles up the stairs. Claudia gets Nash into his apartment and helps him into bed, Nash pulls Claudia in with him as he kisses her.

Bo wants to know if a positive ID can be made, Jack explains that the body is too burned up to tell. Bo explains that he’s on his way, before leaving Bo spots of picture of him and John and holds it for a minute. Nora shows up and can see that something is wrong, Bo explains that John might be dead. Nora promises not to say anything, Bo calls Mike and has Mike meet him so they can go to the scene of the accident together. Nora hangs around Bo’s office, Paige shows up. Nora explains that Bo is away on a case and probably won’t be back until later tonight. Paige talks with Nora about Spencer’s trial coming up, Nora explains that she is taking over for Hugh since he suddenly stepped down. Paige explains that Hugh stepped down because Spencer is his father and she’s his mother. Nora is a little shocked, but understands why Paige wanted to keep her son away from Spencer.

Bo and Mike show up at the scene, Jack is still trying to get everything calmer when he meets up with Bo and Mike. At first, Jack doesn’t want them to see the body because of the condition of it but lets them take a look. Mike unzips the body bag and can’t 100% ID the body as John. Mike sees something in the pocket and takes it out – realizing that it’s the St. Jude medal Nat gave John for Christmas. Mike breaks down crying and upset, Bo tries to keep his composure but loses it as well. Mike can’t believe that John is gone now that everything was falling into place for him. Jack comes up to Mike and asks him to help out, since he is a doctor. Mike knows that John would want him working so Mike goes to help out. Bo takes out his cell phone and realizes that he’s got to make a very difficult call – he calls Natalie. . .

David meets Dorian at the Palace Bar to tell her that he’s leaving town. Dorian laughs, almost believing him. David explains that he’s for real this time, seeing as how no one likes him in Llanview he’s decided to leave. Dorian wishes him luck wherever he goes and explains that she will miss him. A casting director from Hollywood sees David and offers him her card, telling him to give her a call if he’s ever in CA. David kisses Dorian goodbye, Dorian hopes that he stops back in town sometime to see her. Adriana tells Rex that she’s thinking of moving in with Layla, Rex is concerned that Layla is out of a job. Adriana explains that she is to, saying that she quit Craze. Adriana tells Rex that she is 100% serious about getting her mother back and wants him to help her. Rex doesn’t feel good about helping her out but realizes that Adriana is determined to do this so he agrees to help. Adriana thinks about what would make Dorian suffer the most, Rex kisses Adriana to ease her tensions and they end up in bed.

Nash and Claudia are going at it when Claudia stops and asks if Nash thinks he’s with her or Tess. Nash explains that Tess is gone from his life but not his heart, he knows that Tess is gone and is in the process of accepting it. They continue as Nash turns a picture of him and Tess out of view. Jess and Antonio are in bed together when they are interrupted by Antonio’s cell phone. Gloria, the receptionist from the police station, tells Antonio about John. Antonio is in shock, not believing John is dead. Jess realizes that Nat has to know, but doesn’t want to tell her over the phone. Antonio tells Jess to go find Nat while he gets the details.

Mike returns home and is fumbling for his keys, Marcie hears him and opens the door almost knocking him over with a hug. Marcie is so excited because the judge made her decision and is allowing them to keep Tommy. Mike sits Marcie down and explains what happened to John. Marcie can’t believe it, Mike makes her promise never to leave him. Marcie begins to cry and vows to Mike that she’ll never leave him. Mike realizes that he’s got to tell his mother, Marcie doesn’t want him to do that now. Mike also realizes that his mom is on her way to Llanview to give John an engagement ring.
