One Life to Live Recap for the week of September 25 - September 29, 2006

Van meets with Todd to ask him to help her figure out who set up Cris, Todd thinks that Cris is the only person to blame for him losing the fight. Van believes that something happened during the fight that needs further investigation. Todd agrees to help her, Van wants him to use the paper to help exploit whoever may have done this. Todd agrees to do so, he is still fighting his affections for Van while she reaffirms that she is in love with Cris. Nash brings Claudia to see the vineyard, they are met there by Vince and his bodyguard. Claudia is a little perturbed to see Vince there, but leaves Nash to deal with him. Nash explains that he’s looking for investors for the vineyard. Vince explains that he’ll invest, only if he gets to own the whole vineyard. Nash refuses to budge on his position, saying that he wants this to be his – he’s only looking for people to invest, not own. Vince sees the fir in Nash’s eyes and agrees to give him a loan.

Jess and Adriana get together to have lunch to celebrate Jess and Antonio’s engagement. Adriana is excited for Jess, Jess and Adriana talk about the wedding plans. Adriana brings up Bruce, Jess explains that Bruce and Nash were friends and Nash saved her from Bruce at a party. Jess quickly realizes something that she has to do and takes off. Jess runs into Claudia and asks where Nash is, at first Claudia doesn’t tell her but then she explains where Nash is. Layla runs into Adriana at Rodi’s and they both are in need of a place to stay, they decide to become roommates and plan on apartment hunting very soon. Adriana calls Rex to remind him that they have to meet at the Diner soon. Rex goes to see Bo, to see if there is anything that Bo needs help with. Bo explains that he wants Rex to take it easy, and most importantly stay away from Dorian. Bo gets a call from Nat, she can’t help but think that something is wrong with John.

Bo tells her not to worry, that John either turned off his phone or is out of range. Bo reminds her to call him when she gets in touch with John. Rex goes to meet Adriana at the Diner. Cris, Antonio and Carlotta gather at the Diner where Antonio makes his announcement. Carlotta is ecstatic that Antonio and Jess are engaged again. Cris couldn’t be happier. Rex and Adriana show up to give their congratulations. Rex notices that Jess isn’t there, Antonio explains that he’s called her quite a few times but can’t get a hold of her. Adriana explains that she and Jess were just at lunch when Jess said that she needed to find Nash for something. Antonio takes off in search of Jess.

Jess arrives at the vineyard and wants to thank Nash for saving her from Bruce. After Jess leaves, Nash has a vision of being with Tess again, Nash goes after Jess. Jess returns to Rodi’s and goes straight to the bar for a drink. Nash comes in and sees Claudia and wants to know why Jess is at the bar. Claudia thinks that Tess might be showing thru a little. Ambulances and fire trucks rush to the scene of the accident, the EMT’s are running around like crazy to try to put out fires and save people from the pile up. The AC police captain, Jack Murphy, is there to supervise, an officer sees a wallet laying open on the ground and sees a Llanview Police Department badge. Jack gets in touch with Bo. Bo sits at his computer while the captain reads off the ID number on the badge. Bo is almost in tears when he finds out that the badge belongs to John. . .

Todd, Blair and Starr go to Starr’s high school for “parent-teacher day.” An obnoxious/drunken parent, Blake, is gawking over Todd about how luck he is to be alive. Todd and Blair go to meet Starr’s teacher, Blake becomes louder as he beings to talk badly about Blair. Todd dismisses this at first, but then gets aggravated to where he throws Blair against the wall and makes him apologize to Blair for everything he said. Blake does as told, Todd takes off before someone can call the police, Blair catches up to him and thanks him for what he did. Starr runs into Langston, who explains that she saw everything and thought it was pretty cool. Britney, another student there, comes up to Starr and explains that her father is Blake – Britney also explains that Starr’s high school days will be miserable.
