One Life to Live Recap for Monday, September 20, 2004

Blair and Todd take off on a last minute vacation to St. Bart’s, leaving Starr and Jack with Cassie in Savannah. Kelly and David meet Dorian at Capricorn and Kelly thanks Dorian for her help in getting Kevin to let her see Ace. Dorian suggests that they give the Buchanans a run for their money. Renee is overcome with worry after not being able to locate Asa. Bo says that Asa is probably just lying low planning against Blair and Todd. Renee has a bad feeling that something has happened to Asa, who is found wandering by two boy scouts in the woods. Just as they are about to bring him to their scout leader, a rattlesnake scares them off and they leave Asa. He goes to look for them and winds up falling in a rocky hole.

RJ does not want to hear Rex’s excuses for not having the money. Shannon overhears RJ threatening him and wants to know why. Rex says he owes RJ money and agrees to hook up with Shannon later that evening at the Love Shack. David wonders where Blair and Todd got the money to go on a luxury vacation to St. Bart’s. They discuss the fact that Kelly had a hard time giving Ace back to Kevin and Dorian says that she wishes the Buchanan’s would “disappear off the face of the earth” just as Bo passes by and overhears. He tells them that he suspects that Blair and Todd have something to do with Asa’s disappearance and accuses them of lying about not knowing of their whereabouts.

John calls an old contact of his from the FBI to find out what more on the Santi case and tells Bo that the FBI took Antonio into custody. They suspect Sonia Toledo of being involved somehow. Sonia tells Antonio that Tico is not connected to El Tiburon.

Antonio wants to contact the old owner of the Hook Up to see if she has any information on El Tiburon. Jessica refuses to believe that Antonio murdered Isabella when Tico tries to convince her. He tells her that Antonio’s temper is explosive and he is worried that Antonio will try to hurt her. Jess tells him that he does not know what he is talking about and he explains that he feels overprotective towards her since she saved his life in Puerto Rico.

Antonio goes to the loft to get his address book and sees Tico there with Jess. They begin to argue about why Tico is lying to the police and they accidentally knock Jessica to the floor. Jessica thought he was coming back to work things out but sees Sonia waiting in the hallway. Jess tells Antonio to get out and Tico tries to comfort her. He asks her to be his date to the gala and she agrees; afterwards they share a kiss. Antonio and Sonia go back to Lion’s Heart and Antonio confronts Eduardo about why he lied to the police. He cannot get Eduardo to admit that Tico put him up to it and that he was confused about the events on the day of Angelina’s death. Sonia goes to the police station and tells John that she can prove Antonio’s innocence. In Angel Square, Antonio is met by a representative of the Hook Up’s owner who mysteriously tells him to ask “Benicio” the identity of El Tiburon.
