One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, August 25, 2004

Duke is at Dorian’s house. Adriana introduces herself. Duke says that he’s taken her picture at Angel Square and asks Adriana to the movies. Dorian intervenes and tells Duke that Adriana has to concentrate on school. Duke leaves but promises to bring the picture to her. Later that day, Duke slips the picture under the door and Adriana finds it.

Sonia is at R.J.’s apartment and she goes to hide a c.d. in a book. R.J. asks why she’s snooping around. Sonia was curious about the music he listens too and changes the subject to talk about the paintings. R.J. tells her not to worry and that everything is in place. Sonia gets a call and tells R.J. she has to leave.

A man named Ravi is brought in to see John. Ravi tells John of a plan of a heist that involves Paul Cramer. Later Ravi goes to see R.J. who runs down a plan for him and asks if he’s sure he knows what to do. Ravi is confident that he can do it. R.J. laughs as Ravi leaves.

Rex and Nat are talking about the heist. Rex is giving Nat the run down as Marcie comes over and asks about the heist. Rex quickly covers up saying he was joking. Nat backs Rex up and says they were fooling around. Marcie goes to the bar. John shows up. Marcie says she is worried about the relationship between Rex, Nat and Paul.

Antonio is held at gunpoint. Carlotta begs for the man not to shoot Antonio. Another group of men come in shooting. The gunman who was holding Antonio is shot as the other man takes off. The two mysterious gunmen follow. Antonio makes sure Carlotta is okay before he starts grilling her with questions about the notes they received and about what else she knows about the money left by Manuel. Carlotta says that she doesn’t know any more than she’s all ready told. Emilio comes in and tells them both he has orders from the F.B.I. to take them back to Llanview.

Antonio calls John from the airport to say he is back and begins to tell him about being held hostage in Puerto Rico. John asks about Carlotta. Antonio says Carlotta is fine and asks about Jess. John says Jess went to see Tico.

Dorian tells David about Duke’s arrival in Llanview and that they have to be nice to him so he’ll testify for Kelly at the trial. David agrees to be nice to him before the trial and hate him after the trial. Tico shows up and asks why nobody told him about Adriana’s pregnancy test. Dorian asks how he knows. Tico says he has connections. Dorian wants to know who they are. Tico won’t tell. Adriana comes down and asks why everybody is fighting. Tico wants to protect Adriana. Dorian promises she’ll do the best job. Tico tells Dorian he’s hired 2 bands for the dinner. Dorian is impressed as Tico leaves. Dorian thinks Tico is throwing away money and also believe that he’s found the Santi millions.

Jess goes to see Sonia and Angelina. Jess asks if Sonia knows anything about Antonio. Sonia claims she doesn’t know anything and leaves. Jess asks Angelina if she knows anything about Antonio. Angelina avoids the question as Tico arrives home and is surprised to see Jess there. Sonia also comes home. Jess wants answers about Antonio. Antonio comes in and tells Jess to leave while he talks to Sonia and Tico. Reluctantly, Jess leaves. Antonio admits that he had his hands on the Santi fortune and wonders why he’s the only one who can access the account.

John tells Nat that she better not let Rex get her into something illegal. Overhearing, Rex tells John to mind his business. Jess goes to Nat and is crying. Nat asks if she’s ok. Jess admits she was worried about Antonio and was upset when he blew her off when he came back to Llanview.

Marcie meets Mark at the bar. The bartender flirts with Mark. Marcie tells Mark to ask the bartender, Justin, out. Mark says he’s too shy. Marcie builds up his courage and calls Justin over. Mark asks Justin out and he accepts.
