One Life to Live Recap for Thursday, August 12, 2004

Rex goes to see Nat and Paul. Nat asks him what he wants. Rex says he isn’t there for money. Nat takes his word for it and goes to shower. Rex asks Paul if he wants in on the insurance scam with R.J. and then gives him the low down on how the scam is going to work. Paul tells Nat he and Rex are going out.

Nora and Dan are looking forward to their trip away. Bo and Matt show up. Dan leaves to take care of a few things before they go away. Nora asks Bo what he has planned for their weekend. Bo plans on teaching Matt how to barbeque. Nora volunteers to get the steak. Bo says he’ll pick it out. Matt suggests they go together. Bo, Nora and Matt leave the station in search of the perfect steak.

Carlotta warns Angelina that her visit can be disastrous. Angelina knows the risks of her visit. Antonio asks Carlotta what they are talking about. Carlotta takes off to the kitchen as Angelina covers by saying they were talking about raising children. Antonio tells Angelina that she can trust him and asks her if there is anything she’d like to tell him. Sonia breaks them up and tells Antonio that Tico needs to see Angelina right away.

Tico asks Jess how she knows about “the Shark.” Jess admits she read about him in the paper but there is no fear he’ll put the Santi organization back together because he is dead. Tico looks shocked. Jess reveals that she is talking about his grandfather who was a boxer nicknamed “the Shark.” Tico always wanted to know about his grandfather but Angelina would never tell him. Jess shows him a few articles about “the Shark.” One of the articles states that “the Shark” was a great dancer. Tico asks Jess to dance as music begins to play in the background. Tico’s phone rings and he leaves Jess to go answer it. Meanwhile, Sonia and Angelina return home. Jess sees Sonia grab Angelina’s arm. Jess asks Angelina if she’s okay. Angelina is fine as goes upstairs. Sonia covers by saying Angelina forgot to take her medication. Jess knows what it feels like to have to watch out for someone. Sonia goes upstairs to check on Angelina. Jess asks Tico about Sonia and Angelina’s relationship. Tico says they love each other very much. Jess tells Tico what she saw. Tico reminds her that every family has its arguments. Jess agrees and leaves. Tico calls Sonia downstairs. Sonia is sorry that Jess saw but she caught Angelina talking to Antonio. Tico tells Sonia to be more careful or their plan is ruined.

Bo and Nora drop Matt off at home and go to the butcher shop. They are looking around in the freezer as Bo tells Nora about how Asa taught him and Clint to barbeque and now he wants to teach Matt. The butcher comes in with a nice arrangement of beef for them to choose. Bo chooses the one he wants. As the butcher goes to pack it up for him, two men with guns and masks overtake the butcher and lock Bo and Nora in the freezer.

Paul is upset because he lost all his money on a horse. Rex asks him again to join up with R.J. Paul will think about it. Nat is reading a bank statement inside their apartment. She confronts Paul about the lack of money in their account. Paul says it’s the banks fault and says he’ll go check it out. Paul in fact goes to see Kevin asking about advancement on his paycheck. Kevin refuses him and asks if he’s in financial trouble so soon. Paul says he just wanted to take Nat away for the weekend. Kevin still says no and asks Paul to leave. Paul calls Rex and tells him he’s in on the insurance scam.

Antonio returns to the police station to find a letter on his desk. Antonio notices the letter smells like perfume. Jess comes by. Antonio shows her the letter. Jess notices that the date on the letter coincides with the date that Tico’s mother and brother were killed. Dan asks if either of them have seen Nora. Neither Jess nor Antonio knows where she is. Dan calls Matt to ask him. Matt says that Nora and Bo left a while ago to go shopping.

Kevin goes to see Nat with the trust papers in hand. Kevin asks if she’s sure she really wants to do this. Nat is sure as she signs the papers. Kevin mentions that Paul stopped over to ask for a loan. Nat, confused, thought Paul was going to the bank and tells Kevin about the statement they got. Kevin volunteers to call the bank and find out what’s up.

Nora begins to bang on the door and call for help. Bo tried to get a signal with his cell phone but has no luck. Bo searches for a way out as Nora keeps banging on the door and calling for help. Bo tells Nora they will get out of this alive. Nora is worried about freezing to death as she realizes her fingers are numb. Bo wraps his coat around her and tells her they will be okay. . .
