One Life to Live Recap for the Week of August 8 - August 12, 2005

Tess and Nash are making out, Tess realizes that she has to get ready and go. Nash sees her off, when she is gone Bruce calls Nash. Bruce offers to get rid of Nash’s “problem” if Nash returns the favor. Nash hangs up on him, but ultimately calls Bruce back and asks for help. Antonio asks Andrew, the secretary, if he could have Jess’ cell number because she is late and wants to make sure she’s coming. Andrew can’t give out that info, Layla comes in posing as Jessica. Andrew shows Layla into the interview room and goes for his break. Antonio snoops around the office looking for Jess’ application. Andrew catches Antonio, Antonio covers by saying he lost his cell phone. Layla comes out saying that she got the job. Antonio and Layla leave just as Tess shows up. Antonio and Layla are down stairs arguing about Layla going back. Layla wants to stay and help, but Antonio wants her to go home. Layla forgot her purse upstairs and goes back to get it. Antonio finds the bracelet that Tess thru on the street. Todd excitedly comes down the stairs thinking only another hour before Asa’s deadline is up. Blair wants to talk about the wedding, but Dorian shows up. Todd runs upstairs. Blair and Dorian finalize some plans for Dorian’s wedding, Dorian is excited that Kelly is taking Spencer to the wedding. Blair doesn’t see the “big deal” with Spencer. Dorian storms off in search of Kelly. Kelly meets up with Kevin, who asks her to break off her relationship with Spencer. Kelly agrees to do so, Kevin gives her confidential files about a merger between BE and another company telling her to tell no one. Spencer calls Kelly and asks her to meet him at the Palace. Kelly agrees to meet him and leaves, promising to break off the relationship. Dorian comes storming in asking for Kelly. Kevin, rather smugly, tells Dorian that he and Kelly are back together. Asa realizes he only had an hour left before his deadline is up. Margaret comes walking in, asking Asa why he rescued her from the border police. Asa had his reasons and tries to make her understand that Todd wants her dead, not as a wife. Margaret doesn’t believe him and goes back to the guest house. Tess goes in for the interview only to be told that the position is filled, Tess is furious saying she wanted the job and introduces herself as Jess. Andrew knows she’s not Jess, Layla walks in on them arguing. Kelly meets with Spencer but is interrupted by Dorian’s call. Dorian is furious with Kelly for going back with Kevin. Spencer sees David and wants him to snoop thru Kelly’s purse, David does so and tells Spencer about the confidential document. Todd shows up at Asa’s and wants Margaret, Asa says that he can have her. . .
