Nash returns to Llanview and plants a big kiss on Jess, thinking Tess was back. Jess backs off and explains to him that Tess isn’t here. Jess lets Nash go in to see the baby and agrees to let him stay there until the baby wakes up. Nash explains that Reston is dead so they don’t have to be afraid anymore. Nash and Jess share a bottle of his wine, Jess explains to Nash that she is a lot stronger now and Tess isn’t coming out as much. Jess begins to remember Tess’ time with Nash. Kevin goes to see Kelly with the intent to talk about her fainting episode at the Palace the other night. Kelly seems shocked that Kevin cared so much. Kevin explains that he’s stopped drinking and trying to turn his life around. Kevin hopes to find some sort of positive sense to think of her and Duke in, but doesn’t know if he can. Kelly desperately wants him to try, Kevin really doesn’t want a reminder of the night he found them together.

Spencer shows up at Dorian’s to see Blair, wherein he tells her about his suspension and feels the BOD is making an example out of him. Blair comforts him, Spencer vows to find out whoever drugged him. Spencer then suggests he, Blair and the kids go on vacation. Blair doesn’t think it’s such a good idea. Spencer gets called away. Van sits on a bench, waiting for Cris to return. When he doesn’t, Van tries to get up and walk but ends up bumping into someone and losing her cane. Todd finds her and helps her find her way. Todd gives her a hug and wonders why she’s there alone. Cris shows up to inform Todd that Van isn’t alone. Van can sense the tenseness between the two as she opts to find her own way home. Spencer and Cris go at it, Todd explains to Cris that he can provide Van with something he can’t. Blair shows up, Cris takes off. Blair overheard Todd talking with Cris and asks Todd if he’s got a thing for Van.

Todd tells her to mind her own business. Blair vows not to lose Todd to another woman, she calls John and explains that she can’t nail Spencer without his help. Cris finds Van and offers to fight for her to win money for the surgery, Van doesn’t want anyone to help her finance the surgery. David sits in his cell, calling for the guard to bring Spencer down there. Spencer finally arrives at the cell. David confronts Spencer, explaining that he knows he didn’t shoot Thomas. Spencer explains that he wants to help, David figures out that Spencer was in the alley with him the night he shot Thomas. . .

Todd meets with the surgeon to discuss the procedure, the surgeon explains that he has to examine Van and thinks that she might not even be a candidate. Todd wants to do anything he can to make her a candidate. The surgeon thinks Todd is in love with Van, but Todd explains why he’s doing it. Antonio is at Capricorn looking after things, Claudia returns to see if she still has a job. Antonio asks where she was, Claudia explains about her father dying. Antonio feels Nash had something to do with it, Claudia reminds Antonio that Nash is also home and probably with Jess. Nash can see that Jess is remembering and tries to kiss her. Jess backs away, Nash apologizes and Jess goes to check on the baby. Nash unplugs the phone and convinces Jess to sit down and talk with her. In the middle of their talk, Antonio bursts in and orders Nash away from Jess. Antonio sees he unplugged the phone and Jess can’t believe he did that.
