Starr brings the morning edition of the Sun to Dorian’s attention, Blair denies that Spencer did anything to her. Kelly hears Dorian and Blair arguing – Dorian wants Blair to stop seeing Spencer. Starr takes off and Kelly interrupts them. Kelly tells Dorian that you can’t believe everything you read. Dorian is so furious that she storms out of her house, Kelly locks the door behind her and tells Blair that she is pregnant with Duke’s baby. Blair thinks it’s great but Kelly doesn’t know how Kevin will take it. Blair tells Kelly not to even think about Kevin. Kevin is sitting with his father, apologizing over and over again for his recent actions. Clint knows that Kevin is sorrow and has agreed to give him as many chances as it takes to get the “old Kevin” back. Clint gets a page and has to leave the office, Dorian shows up and chastises Kevin for his actions. Kevin tries to explains that he’s trying to change and apologizes for everything he’s done to her family. Dorian almost believes him but laughs in his face, calling him a drunk and a low-life.

Clint overhears this, Kevin takes off, Dorian tries to convince Clint that her relationship with Kevin has nothing to do with them. Clint reminds Dorian that Kevin is his son and orders Dorian out of his office – thus ending their relationship. Spencer shows up for the board meeting, one of the members meets him outside the conference room to give her support. Todd shows up and makes a few sly comments, but Spencer keeps his cool. The other board members arrive and enter the room, Spencer follows them and shuts the door before Todd can enter. The BOD chairman explains to Spencer that Todd is the newest member of the board. Spencer listens as the BOD discuss his fate. They can’t come to an agreement – some want Spence to return to work ASAP, others want him to be suspended and others want him to be fired. Spencer leaves the room as the BOD votes, Spencer returns to find out that he’s been suspended. Spencer whispers to Todd that he won’t get away with his petty plan.

Cris takes Van to a carnival in Angle Square, there they listen to local bands perform and Cris explains that it’s a celebration for the birth of an influential character in Mexico’s history. Cris goes to get them something to drink, Van gets a call from her doctor saying that a doctor in Switzerland developed a new surgical technique that could restore all, or even part, of her eyesight. Van is elated and tells Cris, she realizes that her insurance doesn’t cover the procedure and can’t quit afford it. Cris calls Vince and wants to fight more so he can raise more money. John and Nat go to see David and get every detail they can out of him about the night he shot Thomas.

David wonders why they are questioning him when he already confessed. John explains that they found the gun and are trying to get fingerprints off of it to prove that David used it to shoot Thomas. David, again, wants to know what the point to testing the gun is. Nat explains that the gun was loaded with blank bullets – therefore, if he did shoot someone, they wouldn’t have died. David freaks, thinking that he’s been tormented with the fact that he killed someone when in fact he didn’t, David asks John to work quickly. John and Nat take off, David asks the guard to call Spencer. John and Nat sit down, John knew that something was missing. Nat tells him not to lose his cool, relaxing will help find the answer. John goes to see out George, the person Nat went to see at the beginning of the reopening of the case, to help him get a clearer picture. . .

John returns to AC to meet George. John tells George that he thinks there is more to the story. George believes that he’s told everything he knows. John shows him the gun and George identifies it as the gun David used to shoot Thomas. John asks if he saw David shoot Thomas, George explains that he heard the shot and saw the kid running away and assumed the kid shot the cop. John knows the real murderer is still out there. Bo takes Matt to see Nora, who is doing much better and can talk better. Matt goes to get some candy, Nora asks Bo how the investigation is going. Bo knows he’s missing something and wishes he was on the job. Nora knows that there is no concrete evidence to place Bo at the morgue. Matt returns and Nora tells him to stand back. Nora gets up and walks to her son.
