One Life to Live Recap for the Week of July 4 - July 8, 2005

Kelly stops to see Blair, saying that she is falling for Spencer. Blair is happy for her and tells her not to let Kevin ruin her moment. Kelly is confused, not knowing who to pick. Kelly leaves; Blair calls Todd and wants him to come home. Todd tells her about Jess taking off. Blair suggests he call Kevin, Todd doesn’t want Viki to know. Spencer goes over old newspaper clippings about Ace. Lisa wants John to leave, Van wants to talk to John alone. John asks questions about the killer, Van understands John choice to save Nat first – he loves her. John asks what she remembered when she woke up, Van was trying to thank John for saving her life and all John can think about is questioning her. Van tells John how she was kidnapped and what he did to them. John leaves; Lisa goes back in to find Van crying. John lets Mike take a look at his hand, Marcie calls to say that her journal was stolen. Todd is furious that the nurses let Jess leave, he has to find her. Addie asks why Todd is there, Todd is looking for Jess – Addie describes what Jess was wearing. Tess arrives at a bar, hoping to weed out Jess for good. Tess clicks with a man that she meets, she goes to pay for her drinks with a credit card but there is a problem with it. The man picks up Tess’ tab, his phone rings and he takes off. Jess tries to take over, but Tess is too strong. Tess’ date passes out from drinking too much; Tess steals his wallet and takes off. Kelly visits Addie; Addie asks why everyone is visiting her tonight. Addie can see Kelly is in love, Kelly admits that she has 2 men in her life. Dorian and David celebrate the planning of their wedding. Kevin approaches David; Kevin still doesn’t trust Spencer and wants him away from Kelly. David needs to get rid of Spencer fast, he suggests sending him away. Spencer shows up and Dorian tells him about the wedding. Dorian presses Spencer for info on David’s childhood. Dorian promises to back off and asks what Kevin wants with Spencer; David says Kevin is jealous of Spencer and Kelly. David tells Dorian to leave Spencer alone and not ask about his childhood again. Kevin tells Spencer not to hurt Kelly, Spencer won’t back off from her. David doesn’t want Spencer to come to his wedding; Spencer is the best man and has to be there. The killer flips through the journal. . .

Marcie visits the Love Center, Viki is there praying for Nat to come home safe. Viki blames Marcie for all the killings and asks her to help the police stop them. Marcie has helped John. John shows up, promising to do all he can to find Nat. John blames himself, Marcie tells him not to and offers to call a few friends for their notes. Rex breaks down crying in front of Lindsay, she comforts Rex. Rex blames himself for Nat being kidnapped, Lindsay tells him that Nat will be ok and tells Rex that he’s changed. Rex thanks Lindsay for being there for him. John and Bo try to figure out where Nat is, Nora asks John to stay away from Van for a while. Bo and Nora talk in private, wherein Nora reveals that she had to take an HIV test. Bo wants to know the results, but is sure she’ll be ok. Nora gets a call with the results, they are negative. Bo is relieved. Todd visits Antonio saying he has a note from Jess but is not sure he’ll hand it over. Antonio wants to know what’s wrong with Jess. Todd flashes the note, Antonio wants it but Todd goes to read it to him. Viki overhears Todd reading the note and asks if Jess is ok. Todd tells her that Jess is fine. Antonio doesn’t know where Jess is but Todd does, Antonio thinks it’s a test for him. Viki doesn’t think so, thinking Jess needs time to herself. Antonio is praying for Nat to be safe, Viki wishes Jess was home. Tess takes a trip to New York City, realizing she’s run out of money she sets her eye on another man. Tess makes her move wanting the guy to but him lunch. The man turns her down and goes inside a restaurant, Tess steals his car. The man is furious that his car is gone. Todd visits Bo telling him that Jess might be in trouble, Bo doesn’t believe him, Todd takes off. The killer flips through the journal. . .
