One Life to Live Recap for the week of July 3 - July 7, 2006

Nash and Claudia are ready for their big day, Nash gets a call from Bruce who says that everything is going according to plan. Bruce and Claudia meet with Reston to sign the deed. Reston “forgot” the papers at his lawyers office and suggest they all meet there. When Claudia and Bruce leave, Reston puts a tail on them. Claudia and Bruce return to the vineyard and explain what happened. The tail takes a picture of Bruce and Nash shaking hands and e-mails it to Reston. Bruce and Claudia go back out to meet Reston and get the papers.

When they return, Claudia wishes Nash wasn’t so happy about conning her father. Nash explains that he’ll do anything for Tess and his baby, Claudia hopes Nash realizes that Tess isn’t coming back. Reston returns to his office and checks his e-mail, where he downloads the picture of Nash and Bruce. Reston is furious, grabs a gun and heads to the vineyard. . .

Adriana thanks Rex for taking her away for the weekend and for taking her mind off of things. Rex reassures her that he will let nothing happen to her, Rex calls for room service. When they get the cart, Rex uncovers a plate – revealing a butterfly hidden underneath. Daryl goes to see Dorian, to give her the low down on Rex and Adriana’s stay at the Inn. Dorian can’t believe that their relationship has progressed that far so quickly, Daryl thinks Dorian should concentrate on her own love life and stay out of her daughters. David interrupts them, Daryl leaves to give them their privacy. Dorian barely wants to speak with David, David explains that he is there to say goodbye – explaining that he has his bags packed and is ready to go. Dorian understands why he has to go, tells him goodbye and goes to shake his hand. David refuses the hand but plants a kiss on her and then takes off.

Dr. Jamieson hurries over to the loft, Jess explains that she’s been having memories of Tess and Nash in bed – but not only can she see them mentally, but she can feel them. Dr. Jamieson explains that feeling the alter’s feelings is a sign of integration. Jess wants to hurry things along and asks Phil to hypnotize her. Against it at first, Phil finally concedes. Phil has Jess under hypnosis and brings her back to the night Norman took her to his house. Phil can sense Jess freaking out and then brings her back to the present, the only problem – Tess is back in control and wants to help Nash.

Clint finds Viki lamenting over the problems that her children are facing, she apologizes to Clint for leaning on him so much for consoling. Clint explains that they are leaning on each other to get thru this. Clint kisses Viki, after the kiss Viki feels she needs to know why Clint kissed her. They deduce that it was more of a friendship kiss than a “relighting an old flame” kiss. Viki tells Clint that if he wants to go out with Dorian, to knock himself out.

Daryl sees David leaving and goes back to apologize to Dorian for the earlier comment about her love life. Dorian knows that he is right, Clint shows up with a bouquet of flowers for her. Clint explains that he wasn’t real thorough answering Dorian’s question about their relationship – Clint explains that he is willing to give a relationship a try. Claudia feels that Nash is using her again to get what he needs, Nash reminds Claudia that he has kept her up to speed and made no lie of what he wanted. Claudia sulks a little before Nash asks who he has to sleep with to make her realize he’s not using her. Claudia answers with “Me.” At that point, Reston bursts into Nash’s house with gun raised.

Reston explains to Nash that it’s the last time he’s to hurt Claudia. Claudia begs him to stop and explains that she was in on the whole thing – therefore Nash isn’t using her. Nash manages to get the gun away from Reston, Reston retaliates by attacking Nash and pinning him down to the bed. Claudia grabs a wine bottle and cracks it over her father’s head – he lands on the floor. Nash goes to call the cops while Claudia notices her dad isn’t breathing. Nash turns him over to find ½ the broken wine bottle lodged in Reston’s chest. Nash checks for a pulse but can’t find one.

John, Nat, Mike, Marcie and Hugh are in the courtroom waiting for David and the judge to show up. Nat knows that David isn’t going to get away with what he did even if he doesn’t show up. The judge shows up and sees no defendant there. After waiting several minutes the judge decides to cancel the hearing and explains that the matter will be taken up in trial. The judge also warns Hugh that he better get sufficient evidence because what he has now isn’t enough, explaining further that David might go free. Just as the judge gets up to leave David shows up, takes the witness stand and confesses to shooting Thomas McBain. . .
