One Life to Live Recap for the Week of June 27 - July 1, 2005

Asa continues to play dumb, Bo sends for the doctor and nurse from the mental hospital where Blair was taken. The doctor shows up and tells Bo that Blair was brought there by Asa Buchanan – pointing out that Carlo is the man who brought her there. Blair knows that Asa placed her at the hospital, not Carlo. Carlo uses his one phone call to call one of his “officers” and instructs him to kill Duke and Adriana within 24 hours. Blair vows to put Asa behind bars, Asa wants to cut a deal – Asa will get rid of Margaret if Blair drops the charges. Blair takes him up on the offer. Hayes wants Marcie to write a sequel to the Killing Club. Van’s mom and Kevin chitchat, Van’s mother thinks that Kevin is a great catch for Van. Spencer is impressed with Kelly’s work. Dorian begins to push Kelly towards Spencer, David wants Spencer to leave Kelly alone – David also begs Spencer not to tell anyone they are brothers but David inadvertently says it over a microphone. Dorian can’t believe what she just heard; Kelly backs Dorian up asking why no one said anything. Kelly wants to know everything. Dorian thinks David and Spencer should forget the past and catch up with one another. John and a few officers scan the docks for Nat, John finds Rex instead and wants to know why he’s there. Rex claims that he was just hanging out and then reveals that the letter was a fake. Duke and Adriana come up with a plan to escape. Nora shows up for the ceremony to give Van a pep talk, Van thinks that something is going to go wrong. Van heads backstage to wait for her cue, as Nora is introducing her Van is kidnapped. Asa pays Carlo a visit; Carlo warns Asa that this isn’t the end. . .

Blair keeps trying to avoid the subject, but Todd wants to know what’s up with her and Asa. Blair tells about her deal with Asa. Antonio visits Viki; wherein she tells him that Jess is gone. Antonio is upset that Jess is gone and knows that someone must know where she is. Viki thinks Todd knows. Nora discovers that Van is missing. Rex admits that the note was a ploy to get John and Nat together. John is furious and heads back to the ceremony to make sure nothing goes wrong. A nun assures Jess that she will be fine and no one will let her out. Jess tries to fall asleep but an emotional battle with Tess ensues. Jess tries to weed out Tess, but is unsuccessful. Jess figures out that Tess fears commitment, that’s why Tess is trying to get rid of Antonio. Jess wants to know what made Tess come out. Jess wakes up to find herself as Tess. Tess tries to get out as a nurse comes in to see if she needs anything – as a nun is getting her water, Tess pick-pockets the cell phone and calls Ginger to spring her from St. Anne’s. Marcie starts to freak out, thinking that Van’s disappearance has something to do with the book. Mike assures her that it has nothing to do with the book. John arrives at the Palace; Van’s mom is concerned as John promises to find Van. Bo shows up and Nora fills him in. Roxy shows up, drunk as a skunk, and finds Van’s purse – she brings it to John, she tells John that she saw Van leave with another man. An officer tells Bo that Van isn’t at her house. John interrogates Hayes; Hayes claims he doesn’t know where Van is. Rex calls Nat to tell her that the scam is off; he starts to worry about where Nat is. RJ and Jackie meet at the docks to discuss their “business” deal – Rex overhears. Kevin is really worried about Van; Kelly becomes a little jealous and offers to help find Van. John sees Hayes and demands to know where he took Van. Rex tells Bo that Nat is missing. Van finds herself locked in a basement, she sees another person in the room with her – the other person turns out to be Nat. . .
