One Life to Live Recap for Friday, June 25, 2004

When Kevin sees the photo of Todd and Margaret making love, he tells Blair that she has proof before her eyes that Todd always lies to her. Todd insists the photo is doctored, and he challenges Margaret to furnish the videotape that she claims they made together. However, Margaret says that's too private, and it would hurt Blair (a-hem...isn't this photo hurting Blair?). Margaret pleads with Todd. She misses him and wants him back, but he tells her to cut her losses. Blair gives Todd her trust.

Marcie tries talking Shannon into working on the community center. Marcie will lose her scholarship without this grade, but Shannon thinks that's Marcie's problem. When Dorian tells David about the third piece of jewelry, he searches for Adriana who is in the cabana making love with River. Shannon tells David that she last saw River and Adriana in the cabana.

After making love, Adriana and River talk about how much it meant to them. For a moment, they discuss the possibility of her getting pregnant because they didn't use protection, but they decide that the act of something so beautiful can't possibly bring them problems. She remembers her promise to Dorian that she'd wait until she's older, but River says no one has to find out right now. It can be their secret. WRONG! In walks David, shocked, but still his normal self. When he sees the cross missing from Adriana's neck, he spouts out, "Nobody move!" He looks around, but Adriana tells him Antonio has it. Adriana and River's union bothers Shannon.

John and Antonio discuss plans for the liquor heist, and they put a decoy truck in place. John tells Antonio that Jess can't know about their plans. Everyone has to believe that John fired him or the deal is off. Antonio agrees because he wants to protect his family. They already threatened Carlotta, and he's worried they might come after Jamie.

Jess pleads with Kelly to tell the truth about whatever she's keeping from Kevin. Kelly says sometimes you keep things from people that you love because you love them. Jess says it seems like both Kevin and Kelly are just waiting around till the other surrenders, but what happens if neither one of them surrenders? Is it really worth risking their marriage? Jess urges Kelly to take a risk and tell Kevin the truth. Otherwise, Jess doesn't think Kelly stands a chance.

Antonio tells Jess he was fired from the station because he lost his temper and hit a suspect. Jess doesn't believe him at first because he's unusually calm, and she knows he has changed so much since he went to therapy. She leaves to speak with Bo about getting Antonio's job back. Later, she returns home to find Antonio and John in deep conversation.

David promises Adriana that he won't tell Dorian about River and Adriana in the cabana. One condition though--he wants her to get her necklace back from Antonio. Immediately.

Blair confronts Margaret. "You really don't want to mess with me," Blair tells her. She asks Margaret, "Do you know what it takes for Todd to make love to a woman? She has to be in his soul. And I'm that woman. Nobody else." She tells Margaret that Todd wouldn't throw Blair away for some little bitter pencil pusher who can't hold her liquor. Margaret replies, "I'm not going to let you push me aside. I deserve better than this, and if Todd isn't going to give it to me, well then I will take it from him. And I will take you down too, you bitch!" With that, Blair slaps Margaret clean across the face and says that's just a taste of what Margaret will get if she doesn't leave Todd alone. When Blair leaves, Margaret slings her hand across the table knocking a crystal pitcher and several glasses to the floor. In a rage, she says, "It's not over. I'm going to make them pay for this!"

When Kevin returns to the mansion, he tries talking to Kelly about Ace's paternity, but she won't listen. She makes herself into the victim and can't believe Kevin is asking her that question. She packs her bags and moves back into Dorian's after Kevin says he can't trust her without knowing her secret.

Blair returns home to Todd after cornering Margaret. She tells him that it turns her on when she fights for her man. They fall onto the sofa and make love. Later, they agree that they can handle Margaret together. Meanwhile, Kevin decides that if he's not the father of Ace, then it can only be one other man--Todd Manning.
