One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, June 23, 2004

June 23, 2004 Recap – One Life to Live Marcie, Jen, Riley and Shannon are waiting to see Viki as they talk about failing their courses. Viki tells them she has something new for them. They all sit in her office and Viki tells them that instead of sitting for summer classes they will be outside rebuilding the community center. Riley is afraid that they won’t be able to do it. Viki assures them that more students will be helping them but it is their responsibility to find volunteers and do fundraising. Shannon tells her there is no way she’s doing this. Viki tells her if one person won’t follow the rules, the whole group fails.

Riley, Jen and Marcie bring Shannon to the police station. There, John tries to tell Shannon to go for the project. Shannon takes off after John’s done talking.

Todd arrives at home to find Blair sitting on the couch. It is obvious that she isn’t happy with him. Todd asks her what’s wrong. Blair says Margaret came over and told her that Margaret and Todd slept together. Todd denies it and asks Blair if she thinks it’s true. Blair reminds him that she did catch them kissing at Capricorn. Todd says he was trying to make Blair jealous and admits to using Margaret to got information on B.E.

Kevin meets Nora at Rodi’s. Nora updates Kevin on Todd’s case and ultimately asks him where the accusations are coming from. Kevin admits that it is killing Kelly and Viki. Nora tells Kevin that Todd seems to have changed when he is with Blair because he is confessing to setting up Harry McKenzie. Nora asks Kevin to straighten things out with Kelly before he proceeds to press charges against Todd. Kevin agrees to talk to Kelly. As he leaves he runs into Margaret and tells her that he may not press charged on Todd. Margaret wants Todd punished.

Todd suspects that Kevin is the one who planted the files in his office and admits he does stupid things when he’s not with Blair. Blair points out that Todd can make pretty much anyone mad and says that she believes him. Meanwhile, Margaret is outside Todd’s penthouse. Todd and Blair end up kissing as the doorbell rings. Todd goes to answer it. Margaret hands Blair a gift and says she wore it the first time she and Todd made love. Todd stares at Margaret, obviously angry at what she just did.

Kelly meets Paul at the station and is glad he’s ok. Paul asks how John knew he was in Puerto Rico. Kelly admits she told John and asks if they are ok. Paul says they are fine and tells Kelly to go be with Ace. As Kelly leaves Paul says they are a long way from fine.

Evangeline is walking through Angel Square. R.J. stops her and asks where she’s been. Van says she’s been busy with a case and just got back from New York. R.J. says he wanted to see her. Van asks if he was following her and tells him not to do it anymore. Van walks away from him.

John tells Paul that Katherine and Arthur were killed with the same gun and asks Paul where he was the night Katherine was killed. Paul says he doesn’t remember as Nat comes in and says Paul was with her.

John takes Nat aside and asks if she knows what she’s getting herself into. Nat says she’ll testify if she has to. John threatens her with jail as a cop hands John a copy of the forensics report on the gun found at the docks. John reads through it and tells Paul that he’s not charged for the murder but still wants him in San Diego to help with the Santi case. Nat wants to celebrate. She and Paul leave. Paul tells her to go to Rodi’s and wait for him because he has something to take care of. Nat takes off as Paul addresses an envelope to Kevin.

Van and Nora are having lunch at Rodi’s. They make chit chat and Van asks advice about her failing relationship with R.J. Nora tries to help her out but Van starts to ramble on and slips about kissing John. Flabbergasted, Nora asks if she really kissed him and asks how it was. Van tries to defend herself by saying she did it to prove a point. John shows up and wants to talk to Van. Nora says she has work to do and takes off. John says he has news on the homicide.

Nat watches them at the table as Paul shows up. They make a toast and Paul asks Nat to go back to Puerto Rico and look for the drug money. Nat agrees to go with him. Nat takes off to tell Viki; Paul stays behind and asks the manager if he can borrow someone to deliver something for him.
