One Life to Live Recap for the week of June 19 - June23, 2006

Vince and Layla show up, John sees Vince coming to his table. Vince wants to be thanked for leading John to his father’s killer, John doesn’t feel that he needs to thank him for anything. They share a few more heated words and then John takes a swing at Vince. Rex and Adriana hang out by the pool, Rex calls one of his contacts to find out that Daryl was at UV the night of the tornado – therefore could not have been at his apartment. Adriana changes the subject and wants to know how much Rex lost, rex doesn’t tell her. Adriana catches him off guard and throws him in the pool, rex keeps his grip on her and she goes in with him. After they get out, Adriana snatches the last towel and Rex goes to the cabana to get another on. Adriana’s stalker attacks her, rex rushes back and pulls the stalker off of her. The stalkers gets the upper hand and dunks Rex’s face into the pool. . .

Adriana takes a towel and wraps it around her stalkers neck, he quickly breaks free and retreats. Adriana lifts Rex out of the pool, when he comes too Rex demands that they call the police. Adriana begs him to wait a few more days, just so Dorian doesn’t find out. Rex, who thinks it’s time to involve the police, agrees to wait – but also agrees to stay at Dorian’s house with her. Spencer takes David aside to talk to him, he tries to convince David to continue with his not guilty plea. David says that he’s lived with the guilt for too long, Blair comes back and she wants to go home. Spencer whispers to David to meet him in his room in ½ hour. Blair and Spencer leave. Nat gets John to calm down, Vince threatens to press charges but then decides against it.

Nat and John leave Capricorn, Layla wants to know how Vince could make it look like John started the fight. Vince dodges the question and asks why she doesn’t like John, Layla is impressed that Vince picked up on that and tells him about Van and John’s relationship. Vince is shocked that John and Van went out, Layla goes to the bathroom just as Vince receives a call. Vince tells his bodyguard that he signed Cris up for a “title fight” – knowing full well Cris won’t win. Vince admits that he bet huge on Cris’ last fight, only he bet against Cris. Bo calls Hugh to his office, wherein he gives Hugh his badge and his gun. Hugh feels it’s too early to be making a decision like that. Bo knows that he has to do this by the book, he calls Van because he feels he needs a good lawyer.

Cris admits to Van that he wants to make love to her, Van wants to do the same but opts to wait – to add to the yearning of the relationship. Van gets the call from Bo, who asks her to meet him in his office. Hugh sends a car for Van, when she arrives in Bo’s office he asks her to be his attorney. Van doesn’t understand why, Bo explains about the forged documents. Van is flattered that Bo asked her but has to decline, citing that she needs time to adjust to her illness. Bo understands, Van promises to do all that she can to clear Bo’s name. Hugh assures Bo that he will get to the bottom of this. Cris gets a call from Vince explaining about the fight. Cris thanks him for setting up the fight, Cris goes to paint something but winces in pain as his wrist throbs. John and Nat go to the roof, where Nat explains that she thinks John started the fight to protect her. John admits that, even thought he caught his father’s killer, he’s not at peace with it. John feels he needs to know the whole story. Nat calms him down and they fall asleep together. John has a dream, where he sees David in an execution chamber claiming that John has the wrong man.

Blair and Spencer arrive at his apartment, Blair makes a comment that she hasn’t been able to sleep so Spencer gives her a sedative. When he isn’t looking, Blair spits it out and pretends to fall asleep. David shows up and tells Spencer that he’s not changing his mind. Spencer explains that David is not going to ruin everything for him. Blair listens at the door, she overhears Spencer say that he’s covered up the murder and “other recent developments.” David agrees to consider Spencer’s offer, but promises nothing. . .
