One Life to Live Recap for the week of June 19 - June23, 2006

Antonio stays behind as Norman begins to wake up. Clint is able to calm Jess down, Jess is frustrated that she doesn’t feel any better and wants to go to the Hot Spot. Viki thinks she needs to take it slower, but Jess explains that she’s going to the bar with or without them. Viki and Clint drive Jess to the bar, where they run into Rose. Rose tries to deny that she was Norman’s victim, but then she tells Jess to get over it and forget about it – like she did. Jess breaks down crying, Clint and Viki take her home. As Jess is holding Brennan, she promises to be there for her always. Meanwhile, Antonio watches Norman as he slowly begins to die. Antonio watches the heart monitor flatline as Norman begins to convulse. A doctor rushes in and tries to revive Norman but it’s too late. Norman is pronounced dead. . .

Viki goes to see Todd and is appalled at how he plans to spend his life – getting Blair back for betraying him. Todd is dead set on making Blair not get what she wants for the rest of her life, Viki pleads with her brother to look at the positive rather than the negative. Her words fall on deaf ears as Todd explains that Blair will pay for what she did. Bo sits with Paige as she wakes up from a nightmare – where she finds Bo dead. Paige confesses everything to Bo – about the baby, about the documents and about Spencer’s vendetta against the Buchanan’s. Bo is set on taking care of Spencer and asks Paige to believe in him – he goes to take care of something.

Hugh goes to see Nora to talk to her about Todd. Nora can’t believe that Todd was actually telling the truth for once, she also asks if they have any other suspects. Hugh explains that all the evidence points to Bo, Hugh doesn’t want to be the one to put Bo in jail and asks Nora for help. Nora tells Hugh to do things by the book – take Bo’s badge. Van coaxes Cris as he stands up. Cris gets a 2nd wind and ultimately wins the fight. Adriana heckles Rex for losing all the money.

Daryl, again, apologizes to Adriana for scaring her and then makes a comment about how Cris “floating like a butterfly.” Adriana is freaked out over the statement and tells Rex, Rex plans to investigate Daryl a little further. Rex takes Adriana home. Vince, Layla and Van congratulate Cris on his victory and Vince wants to take everyone out. Layla agrees to go with him, but Van makes up a story that she is busy. Cris takes Van back to his place and wants Van to be confident in herself so he gets her to paint. Van doesn’t think she can do it but Cris convinces her that she doesn’t need to physically see something to do something. Cris goes to get the paintbrushes but drops them all over the floor as he grabs his wrist.

Van knows something is wrong and asks Cris if it’s his hand. Cris assures her that it’s not, makes up a story that he is tired and takes Van home. Dorian meets Blair at Capricorn for a dinner, Dorian wants to know why Blair invited her to dinner. Spencer shows up, Blair wants Spencer and Dorian to talk about their differences and becomes amicable towards each other. Dorian takes one look at Blair snuggling with Spencer and orders a drink. John and Nat show up, Nat tells John not to let Spencer ruin the evening. No sooner does she say that than David walks in. John and Nat get their drinks and sit down. David goes to see Blair and warns her against getting to close to Spencer. Blair explains that she is committed to Spencer, David asks about Todd. Blair explains that it’s over between her and Todd. David thanks Dorian for posting his bail, Dorian admits that she didn’t do. Spencer confesses that he did it, they shake hands and agree to a “new beginning” between them. Spencer offers to help keep David out of jail, David takes Spencer aside and explains that he is tired of running and plans to plead guilty at the trial.
