One Life to Live Recap for the week of June 19 - June23, 2006

Dorian takes off to take care of something, Blair sits with Spencer and reassures him that she is in love with him. Viki calms Jess down and assures her that she is doing fine, Rex shows up to show his support. Bo takes him aside and tells him everything that’s been going on – with the forged documents. Rex vows to find out whoever is doing this to him, Bo doesn’t want Rex to get involved but he knows Rex will do it anyway. Adriana shows up and almost exposes Rex’s plans to investigate Jess, Bo walks away without hearing it.

Adriana apologizes for chastising him about taking the job. Crosby talks with Jess and realizes that something else must be blocking her memories of Norman. Jess keeps insisting that it’s all her fault, but Viki assures her that she did nothing wrong. Crosby suggests they hypnotize her. Viki and Clint are against it, but Jess wants to proceed with it. Crosby asks everyone to leave. Clint, Viki and Antonio go wait in the library. Kevin goes to see Asa. Nat goes to John’s apartment and sees a broken radio on the ground. Nat asks if he’s ok, John admits that – even though they found the person who killed his father – he doesn’t feel any different. Meanwhile, at Llanfare, Jess is put under and still can remember nothing. Crosby thinks Tess is blocking her as she was protecting her before. Jess explains that she can’t feel Tess inside of her anymore. Crosby brings Jess out of the trance, feeling she’s had enough for the day. Crosby calls everyone back into the room, Jess explains what happened during the session and is adamant about seeing Norman Leeds. . .

Claudia finally arrives in Napa and goes to, what she sees as a run-down cottage nestled in a weed patch. Nash shows her around and explains that the vineyard has character and potential, he gives Claudia documents to sign. She takes one look at the price and knows she can’t get that big amount of money. Nash lets it slip that he is only doing this to get back at her father, saying that he’s threatening his family. When Claudia doesn’t believe him, Nash produces the note found in Brennan’s crib. Claudia agrees to help him after seeing the note. Rex and Adriana reconcile their differences and make plans to go see Cris fight.

Rex sends Adriana ahead while he calls someone to meet him at the ring. Rex shows up at the ring before Adriana and begins to get worried. Adriana is walking in the back alley to the ring and hears someone behind her. She turns around to find Daryl following her. Daryl explains that he’s there to meet Rex and drop something off. Adriana goes in with Daryl, they both find Rex. Rex sees Adriana distracted and tells Daryl he’s planning on making a huge bet against Cris. Adriana overhears him and is appalled that Rex is betting against her cousin. Rex explains that he’s trying to make a quick buck, doesn’t mean that he doesn’t like Cris. Adriana walks away from him.

Van and Layla show up, they go to see Cris. Vince interrupts them, saying that Cris should concentrate on the fight, not his girlfriend. Cris explains to Vince that, when in the ring he will listen to his owner but not when it comes to his personal life. Van and Cris go to talk, where Van wishes him good luck by kissing him. Cris can see that something is wrong, Van admits that clients are dropping her because of her blindness. Cris thinks that people should see her for what she’s done, not by her shortcomings. Vince reminds Cris that he’s got a fight in a few minutes. Van and Layla watch as Cris climbs into the ring to warm up, his opponent also enters the ring – who happens to be at taller and stronger than Cris.

The fight starts, Cris puts up a good run for the first few rounds but then is knocked to the floor. Clint, Viki, Jess and Antonio go to the hospital to visit Norman. Clint wants to go in first, Viki follows him for fear of what he might do to Norman. When they get into the room, it’s Viki who goes berserk on the man who violated her daughter. Clint restrains her, Normal is asleep thru the whole thing. It is explained to them that Norman isn’t doing very well and doesn’t have much time left. Antonio brings Jess into the room. Jess faces the man that caused her to split, hoping that he burns in hell. Jess runs out of the room crying, Clint and Viki follow her.
