One Life to Live Recap for Wednesday, June 16, 2004

Kelly is sitting on the couch holding Ace. She tells him that she will keep their secret and they were meant to be together. Kevin comes downstairs and eyes Kelly.

The doorbell rings at Llanfare, Viki gets up to answer it. Roxy barges in saying she went to Nat’s house and everything is gone.

Nat tells Paul that she’s ready to go. Paul is glad that Nat decided to go with him. Nat asks where they are going. Paul is taking her to Puerto Rico. Nat remembers that Cris wanted to take her there someday. Paul wanted to take her somewhere special. They share a kiss.

Todd is in his penthouse thinking about what Blair said about her not making a promise to come and stay with him. Todd turns around to see Blair come through the door.

Nat is wary about getting involved with a fugitive. Paul tells her that the FBI was just using him to get information out of him and claims he did nothing wrong. Paul assures her that she’ll be ok. Nat finds a gun and asks why he is carrying it if he did nothing wrong.

Evangeline tells John she is very nervous and that she wants to help find out who killed Katherine and Arthur. John wants to go after Paul and ask him a few questions about the two murders. Evangeline starts to blame herself and John tells her that it wasn’t her fault.

Rex is at Capricorn to see R.J. He tells R.J. that he doesn’t have the money and can’t pay him. R.J. seems “shocked” that the almighty Rex can’t pay. Rex asks for another extension. R.J. reminds him of the contract and says no extension. Rex storms off. R.J. listens to his messages on his cell phone and hears Evangeline’s telling him to come quick.

Rex runs into Lindsay. Lindsay asks him what’s wrong. Rex tells her to have fun with her new club.

Kelly tells Kevin she ran into Todd at the diner and knows about truce. Kevin is still suspicious about why Kelly and Todd spend so much time together. Kelly wants to work out her and Kevin’s differences. Kevin admits he loves Kelly but can’t trust a word that comes out of her mouth because she lied to him so many times and suggests that Kelly doesn’t love him enough. Kelly says she has done so much to keep them together. Kevin tells her they need time apart to think about their relationship.

Blair and Todd look into each other’s eyes. They dance around in a circle; Blair then takes Todd’s hand and leads him upstairs. In the bedroom, they begin to make love.

John admits he was engaged to Katherine’s sister and that she and Caitlin were so good together. John realizes that they are both gone and he couldn’t save either one of them. Evangeline gives him a hug as R.J. walks in. Evangeline thanks him for coming. R.J. sees that she and John have everything under control and storms off.

Nat starts to leave. Paul covers up by saying he has the gun to protect her as he puts the gun away and tells Nat if she wants to go she still can. Nat goes back in to his room and says she’ll stay but she won’t sleep with him. Paul says the thought never crossed his mind.

Roxy thinks Nat is in big trouble. Viki tells Roxy that she went over to see Nat and gave her advice about following her heart and taking risks. Roxy says that’s not bad advice. Viki hopes Nat didn’t take it the wrong way. Roxy is very worried about Nat and Rex. Viki is glad to see Roxy taking such an active role in her children’s lives.

Lindsay tells Rex that she’s sorry. Rex asks Lindsay for money and, after Lindsay declines, asks for an extension. Lindsay wants Rex out of her life because she always lets people use her and it has to stop. Rex says he cares about her. Lindsay refuses to give him the money as Rex storms out.

Kelly asks Kevin to stay for just one more night. Kevin agrees to stay on the hope that Kelly will changer her mind and tell him the truth. Todd can’t believe Blair is there. Blair has no regrets about coming. Todd wants her and the kids to come home so they can be a family again.

Kevin tells Kelly he’ll be at the office and will spend the night at Viki’s house. Kelly doesn’t want him to go. Kevin wants the truth once and for all. Kelly admits the truth may cause her to lose him. Kevin brings her to the realization that she’s all ready losing him. Kelly asks about Ace. Kevin, as he walks out the door, says he all ready said goodbye to him. Kelly vows she won’t lose Kevin now.

John goes to see Viki and asks her about Nat. Viki tells him about her conversation with Nat on the phone. John asks about Nat and Paul’s relationship.

Nat and Paul are eating. Nat agrees to drive while Paul gets some sleep because she saw him up all night. Paul says they have to drive to Florida and he has a friend that will fly them to Puerto Rico. Nat goes to the bathroom. Paul hears over the radio that Katherine has been murdered. Nat back from the bathroom and asks Paul what’s wrong.
