One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, June 15, 2004

When Blair realizes Todd is still in the burning community center, she rushes in to find him. She discovers him trapped beneath a beam, and together with his help, she pulls the beam from his body, and they both escape to safety.

When John arrives at Evangeline's office, he finds Kathryn's body. Evangeline doesn't understand why an FBI agent would have been in her office, and she suggests that Kathryn may have been dirty. John says the Kathryn he knew was a good woman, and he wonders if Paul could have killed her. Later, John receives a call that Evangeline's client, the bookkeeper at The Hook Up, was found dead too. Evangeline blames herself because she asked her client too many questions about the Santis.

At Nat's, Paul asks her to leave town with him, but Viki shows up and he hides. Nat searches for Viki's opinion, but she doesn't tell Viki her true intentions. Viki unwittingly gives Nat the wrong advice. When Viki leaves, Nat finds a note from Paul. He will be waiting at a motel till dawn, and he still hopes she leaves with him. Later, Rex visits Nat to ask her to keep quiet about his and Roxy's fire blunder with the community center. Nat wants Rex's opinion about Paul, but Rex is too worried about his own butt, so Nat never asks him about her concerns.

At The Hook Up, John questions the manager about Kathryn and Paul. She denies ever seeing either of them, but John says he has witnesses who have seen her talking to Paul. John tells her that Kathryn was killed last night, and he says that he has a feeling the Santi family will kill her next if she doesn't give him information so he can protect her.

At The Hook Up, John asks Nat when she saw Paul last, but Nat lies and says she last saw him when Kathryn was arresting him. She tells John she'll call the station if she sees Paul. Antonio and Jess make up, and she gives him his own private strip show. She understands why he kept quiet about his job. Antonio wonders if his mom is keeping any information from him about Manuel Santi.

Adriana and River fight about Shannon. He has plans to check out a band, and he tells Adriana that Shannon might be there. Adriana is angry that he won't call off his plans for her. Later, at the diner, Adriana asks Carlotta for her cross back, but Carlotta is worried that Adriana could get killed. Eventually, Carlotta returns it after Adriana promises to lock it away and never wear it. Adriana's bus route is canceled because of the fire, so Rex gives her a ride home. When they walk into Dorian's, River is waiting at the bottom of the stairs. In front of River, Rex offers to intervene if she has any problems with River, but she sends Rex away, and she and River make up.

David questions Carlotta. He says if she cares about Dorian, she needs to tell him anything about her brother, anything that will help Dorian. Dorian's life could be on the line. He doesn't get any answers. Later, Antonio asks Carlotta about her bracelet. She says it was her mother's, and Manny gave it to her after their mother died.

Jess visits Viki. Nat calls and sounds so cryptic. She tells Viki that she knows what to do now. She says, "I don't know where I'll be, but don't worry. Wherever I am, I can find my way home now." Later, when Paul opens his motel room door, Nat stands with bags in hand.

At Dorian's, Blair and Todd grow closer. She tends to his cuts and bruises. When she asks him where he's hurt, he points to various places which she kisses, ending with his lips. He tells Blair he's going back to his penthouse, and he'll be waiting for her. She tells him she can't make any promises, but he says he doesn't want any promises. "I'll see you there," he says.
