Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Jennifer Faulkner, About.com Guest

Antonio feels disgusted being a stripper, but he'll keep doing it long enough to get information for Evangeline. At Capricorn, Marcie's anxiety gets the better of her after she witnesses Antonio stripping, and she starts guzzling drinks.

Kathryn says she needs more than John's word to prove that Paul is alive. Unless John can deliver Paul to her, she is assuming Nat is a suspect in his murder. Kathryn accuses him of letting his emotions get in the way, and she says if they'd been more thorough in the past, Caitlin may never have been murdered. Her comment angers John.

In Asa's foyer, a gunman struggles with Paul as Kelly watches in horror. When the gun goes off, the man is shot in the shoulder, and Kelly and Paul run away. The gunman stumbles outside after them. Asa, who is in the livingroom, hears the gunshot. He opens the doors to the foyer and starts yelling angrily for whoever shot the gun. "Show your face!" he rants. When Kevin shows up, he thinks Asa is crazy. Perfect timing. Evangeline arrives just in time to see her client looking for a bullet that no one else heard.

RJ taunts Rex and sarcastically says that after Rex's club and restaurant go "belly up," he'll still let Rex be manager at UV. Rex tells RJ he'll get the money.

Incognito, Roxy meets an arsonist on the hush-hush at Carlotta's diner. She wants him to burn down her salon so she can get insurance money for Rex, but Nigel gets the wrong idea when he sees them together. Roxy convinces Nigel that he's the only man for her, and he proposes to her, but she doesn't give him an answer yet.

Paul tells Kelly that he never wanted to blackmail her, but he had the Santi family after him. He asks her to hide him because he doesn't want to die. She wants to call the police, but he doesn't trust the police to protect him. Behind his back, she calls John because she's worried about her brother.

When Jess tells Antonio they went to see a strip show, he says that he doesn't want her going back because he worries about her safety. A drunk Marcie almost tells Jess that she saw Antonio stripping, but instead she starts rambling like a crazy woman. Marcie asks Jen to take her away before she says something really stupid.

Jen and Rex have a decent conversation. She says she's proud of him for finding a way to get his money without using anyone. "How did you get the money?" she asks, but before he can answer, Marcie staggers up and says she still wants to tell Jess about Antonio. Jen tells her to stay out of it. Jen even suggests that Antonio might be uncover, to which Marcie replies, "From what I could see, Antonio wasn't under any cover at all!" She plans to find out what Antonio is up to.

At the police station, Kelly tells Paul she cares about him and wants him to be safe. Paul tells John and Kathryn that if they cut a deal with him, he'll tell them everything they need to know about Dr. Long. However, Kathryn says the FBI has other plans for Paul. They want him to help find the drugs, arms, and money that Santi stashed before he died. When John gets called away, Kathryn looks at Paul and says, "Here's what's really going on. I'm taking you to Puerto Rico, and you and I are going to find Santi's money ourselves."

In Angel Square, Rex runs into Adriana looking for her purse. He almost slobbers on himself when he learns that she's worth $30 million. He offers her a ride home, but when she declines, he gives her a dollar for the bus. Roxy and the arsonist meet Rex, and the man says he'll strike when they give the word.

Kelly tells Kevin that she never slept with Todd. She says she thought she killed Paul, and she and Todd hid the body. However, Paul is at the police station alive and well. Kevin thinks that's beside the point. "Why did you go to my worst enemy? Why didn't you come to me when you were in trouble?" he asks. Instead of answering, she tells him she's exhausted and heads for bed. Afterward, Kevin opens a letter addressed to Kelly. Earrings fall to the floor. The letter from Todd says that he found her earrings in his car "on their way back." In addition, it says that Todd made her a promise and intends to honor it.

At the station, John tells Antonio that the manager of The Hook Up is connected to the Santi family. Paul asks Kathryn what she'll do if he doesn't go to Puerto Rico with her. Matter-of- factly, with her hand near her gun, she responds, "Well, sometimes people resist arrest, and they get shot."
