One Life to Live Recap for Tuesday, May 25, 2004

Nigel sticks a gun in the face of a man who is after Roxy. The man isn't affected by it, and after he threatens both Nigel and Roxy, he says he'll be back in an hour for $18,000. He'll bring some duct tape and a shovel just in case they don't have the money.

When Nora and Bo discover that Matthew schemed to get them to the campsite together, Nora tells him that he can't try to fix them up anymore. Unfazed, Matthew suggests that Bo and Nora share a tent while he sleeps in his own. Secretly, Nora displays her disgust for camping, but she puts on a brave face and attempts to pitch a tent. A game warden gives Bo a ticket for fishing without a fishing license, and Nora laughs about it, but he gets his own chance to laugh at the tent she pitched. He says it looks more like a hammock.

When Kelly learns that Kevin might get in trouble for her money transaction from Buchanan Enterprises to their personal account, she tells him she was never blackmailed by Nick Carson; she was blackmailed by Paul. Just as Kevin asks why Paul blackmailed her, the policeman from Atlantic City approaches Kelly and questions her about the night Paul disappeared. He knows she stayed in the hotel room where they found Paul's blood.

Blair brings Todd some chicken soup as he waits with Viki. When Dorian visits, Viki tells her that she wants to see Ben before she dies. In Ben's room, Viki spills her heart and tells him how scared she is. As she speaks to him and remembers their life together, she feels him comforting her and talking to her in spirit. He tells her to draw strength from him.

Bo and Matthew watch curiously as they hear Nora yell and thrash beneath her feeble tent. She's got ants in her pants! Such a goofy scene compared to what's going on in the hospital. Matthew tells Nora she should think twice before she builds a tent over a spot with fire ants again. Before they can start a fire, the sky opens wide and drenches them. Nora dives headfirst into a tent with Bo and Matthew. After very little convincing, Nora gets Bo and Matthew to relocate to her house for pizza and DVDs instead.

When the detective asks Kelly why she used an alias in her hotel room, Kevin sticks up for her and says they sometimes keep a low profile because they are in politics. Kelly tells the officer that she went to Atlantic City, but she never found Paul. When she says that she left Atlantic City early in the evening, Kevin provides her alibi by lying to the officer. He says that he flew to Atlantic City and met her there, and Paul must have gotten into the room after they left because they left the door open for the maid.

John waits with Natalie at the hospital. She says she can tell that the detective thinks she killed Paul. She can just tell by the way the officer looks at her. Nat tells John that Viki went to say goodbye to Ben. David tells the detective that he didn't want Dorian to know he was gambling. That's why he kept Atlantic City a secret. He and Kelly say that they didn't see each other while they were there. They use Viki's illness as an excuse to escape further questions.

Nigel is good for the $18,000 when the thug returns for it. Roxy learns that Nigel sold half of his hotel to Asa. "You gave up half of your dream to save me?" she asks. Nigel admits his love for "Miss Roxanne" and they melt into a kiss.

Kelly comforts Kevin as he worries about Viki. She thanks him for giving her an alibi, and he says he loves her and would do anything to protect her. She acts like she's about ready to come up with a lie about why Paul was blackmailing her, but Kevin says he doesn't want to hear anything like that right now. He needs her strength while his mom is sick. "Sometimes I feel like I'm just losing it," he says (If only he knew how close Kelly is to losing it!).
