One Life to Live Recap for the week of May 22 - May 26, 2006

Mike and Marcie try to spend time together but Mike gets called back to the OR, Marcie promises to wait at the hospital for him. Mike treats a baby that was found in the rubble, Marcie gets to hold the baby and decides that she wants kids some day. Mike sees how good Marcie is with the baby and can’t wait to have kids. Clint finds Kevin at the cemetery and watches on as Kevin tells Duke goodbye. Kevin explains about his regrets and failures and wishes he could hold his son one more time. Adriana goes to Kelly to see if she was in love with Duke, Kelly explains that there relationship was very complicated – Adriana loves Kelly and they need to stick together. Kelly admits that she was not in love with Duke. Adriana and Kelly watch the news unfolding regarding Todd’s upcoming execution, Kelly feels horrible for Blair and the kids.

Blair demands to be let him, the guard refuses to let her in. Spencer shows up, the guard asks why he’s back. Blair wants to know why he went to see Todd, Spencer explains that he reassured Todd he would be there for Blair. Jack refuses to hug Todd, saying that Spencer is his father now – not Todd. Starr tries to explain that Spencer will never be their dad and he’s not a baby killer. Todd explains to Jack that he understands why he’s afraid. Jack wants to leave, Todd lets him go back to Blair. Todd and Starr have an emotional goodbye as they both realize that this is the last time they will see each other. Jack goes right up to Spencer and hugs him, Blair asks Spencer to take Jack to the car. Blair pounds on the door pleading with Todd to let her in. Todd refuses to see her as his time runs out with Starr, Starr storms out of the visiting chamber and blames Blair for everything saying that she will never forgive her. Blair pounds on the door pleading with Todd to let her in.

Viki shows up at the prison vigil to show her support for Todd, she makes a statement against the death penalty and thanks everyone for showing their support. Van shows up and tells Viki the governor hasn’t called her yet. Dorian shows up and tells Viki that if she believes Todd is innocent, she’s as guilty as Todd is. Ellen Foley shows up to show her support for the death penalty. Viki takes her aside and explains that taking a life for a life isn’t the just way to do things. Dorian tells Ellen that she is on her side. Viki and Dorian go at it again. Clint shows up and has to break them up…again. Viki sees Starr running out of the prison and she refuses to go home, wanting to stay with Viki. Viki promises to take care of her. Dorian sees Spencer carrying Jack and wants to take him home, Jack explains to Dorian that Spencer is his new dad – to which Dorian becomes furious.

John tells the guard that Margaret is alive, the guard doesn’t believe him and hangs up the phone. John tries to get in touch using a landline phone but has no luck, he does something risky and calls up for a police officer to come to the room – hoping the cop will be able to get him a secure connection to Llanview. When the cop enters the room, Margaret tells him (in Thai) that she and David are being kidnapped. John shows the cop his badge and explains why he has Margaret and David in handcuffs, Margaret tries to convince the cop that they are being taken against their will. Natalie whacks the cop over the head with her crutch and he falls to the ground. John and Nat devise a plan to try to fly out of Thailand, John hopes they can get back to Llanview in time. . .

John, Nat, Margaret and David end up getting on a plane heading for Llanview. John figures that when they land they’ll have about 20 minutes to get to the prison before Todd is executed. Margaret asks Nat what they plan on doing with them after they save Todd. Nat admits they haven’t thought about that but suggests Margaret get help.
