One Life to Live Recap for the week of May 8 - May 12, 2006

Kelly is prepped for surgery and Spencer explains that as soon as he is done working on Kelly he will bring Duke into the OR. Viki can’t imagine what Kevin must be going thru. Dorian calls Blair, who shows up immediately. Dorian explains the situation and still blames Kevin for it, Blair explains that it’s not the time for her “anti-Buchanan” speech. Spencer tells them both that Kelly will be fine. John checks on his flight, Bo comes into his office and inquires about where he is going. John doesn’t tell Bo where he’s going but says that he is going to serve justice to the man who shot his father. Bo hopes that he doesn’t do something that he could regret. John asks Bo to check up on Nat, Bo promises he will.

John calls Nat to tell him that he’s leaving soon, Nat wishes him luck and also tells him not to do anything stupid. Mike catches Nat trying to leave and wants to know where she’s going. Nat claims that she wants to help John, Mike wonders why and Nat lets it slip that she found something out about John. Nat quickly covers herself, remembering John wanted to keep it a secret. Mike gets called into the OR room with Spencer. Viki visits Nat to see how she’s doing. Nat explains that she is doing good and has a feeling that she and John will get back together. Viki hopes Nat doesn’t get hurt by John again, Viki tells Nat about Kelly and Duke – but she doesn’t go into detail.

Viki goes to see how Clint is doing, Clint just looked in on Kevin. Clint can’t believe that something like this is happening to his family. Viki reminds him that they’ve had an angel looking over their family for a long time, she just hopes the angel is still looking after them. Spencer and Mike operate on Kelly, Spencer is leary about the procedure but everything went fine.

Spencer reports to Dorian that he is convinced Kelly will make a speedy recovery. Todd has a dream that he is let out of jail, he sees Blair but Blair explains that she wasn’t the one who got him out of jail. Todd sees Margaret, Margaret tells him that she will be the one to set him free. Todd wakes up and realizes that Margaret might be the key to his innocence. David and Margaret go to an internet café, wherein David wants to show her something. The internet is down, Margaret wants to hear all about Todd and her supposed baby. David explains that she had a thing going on with Todd and Todd had “strong feelings” for her. Margaret still doesn’t remember a thing and begins to think David is crazy. The internet comes back on and David shows her an article, with Margaret’s picture, with the headline “Woman and Unborn Son Murdered.” Margaret is flabbergasted when she sees the article, Denton spots them and plans to “eliminate the problem” ASAP.

John boards the plane and gets ready to take off, Nat shows up and tells him that she wants to help him – and there is nothing he can do to stop her. Kevin is staying with his son, wondering how Duke could betray him like that. Kevin then feels that he made the wrong decision and should’ve sent his son in, whom he knew he had to protect, instead of Kelly. Duke opens his eyes, tells Kevin that he is sorry, and then flatlines. . .
