One Life to Live Recap for the week of May 8 - May 12, 2006

Nash knows they have to get away from the car, he suggests Tess toss the baby down to him. Tess absolutely refuses, Nash tries to convince her that it’s the only way to get away from the car. Cris and John stay by Van and Nat, respectively, comforting them and reassuring them that they will be ok. Cris is finally able to get thru to the paramedics, the EMT’s arrive and assess the situation. Van is taken away, she begs for Cris to follow and he goes with her. John refuses to leave Nat’s said as they load her into the ambulance. Once at the hospital, Mike checks Nat and Van into rooms. An eye doctor is on his way down to check out Van, Van pleads for Cris to stay with her. Cris tells her that he’s not going anywhere. John goes into the room with Nat, where Mike stitches her up, Mike is convinced that Nat will be ok. Kelly wakes up and realizes what she did, Duke is just starting to wake up when the second tornado hits – collapsing the roof of the rectory. . .

John stays with Nat to make sure that she is ok, Viki comes in to see how her daughter is doing. John gives them their privacy, he goes to see Van. Viki and Nat talk about her relationship with John, Nat admits that she hopes they can reconcile. Cris is staying with Van while Spencer examines her eyes. Spencer says that he isn’t an eye doctor, but tells Van that she could remind blind for the rest of her life. Spencer puts a call into an eye doctor friend of his. Spencer runs into John in the hallway, John reminds him to stay away from Mike. John runs into Mike in the hallway, he begins to tell Mike about who shot their father but opts not to when Mike explains how busy he is and how he just wants to get back with Marcie. John makes his way to Van’s room and hears the prognosis. Van admits that she can’t stand not being in control, John tries to lift her spirits but is lead out of the room when the eye doctor arrives.

Cris returns to Van’s room and tells her that he will never leave her side. John returns to Nat’s room, Nat explains that she wants to help John bring David to justice. Dorian goes to Asa’s house, to see if Kelly is there with Kevin. Clint is there and explains that he hasn’t been able to reach Kevin. Dorian starts to get worried and has a funny feeling something bad has happened. Kevin comes in, half-drunk, and tells Dorian that he hasn’t seen Kelly since the wedding. Dorian treks out into the storm to find her niece, before she leaves she vows to hold Kevin responsible if Kelly is injured. Clint turns on the radio and they overhear that the rectory was hit by a tornado. Kevin freaks out when he hears this and rushes right over there. Dorian arrives at the hospital and makes a scene, threatening to have interns fired if she doesn’t get answers. Viki calms her down and reassures her Kelly will be ok. Dorian finds John there and asks him for help finding Kelly, John promises to help find Kelly in exchange for the whereabouts of David. Dorian tells John that David is in Thailand, in return John gives Dorian the name of a man who can help find Kelly. Nat overhears the whole conversation.

Tess trusts Nash enough to toss the baby down to him. She does so and then jumps out of the car herself. Tess and Nash both fear that Antonio is dead, Nash pokes Antonio with a stick to make sure that the electrical current is not still running thru his body. After deeming him ok to touch, Nash gives Antonio mouth-to-mouth. Tess pretends to be Jessica, helping to bring Antonio out of unconsciousness. Nash grabs Antonio’s cell phone and calls for the paramedics, they arrive and help Antonio, Tess and Nash into an ambulance. Mike, after a long few hours at the hospital, returns to Marcie to spend their wedding night together. Kevin, with an army of EMT’s, arrive at the rectory. Kevin flips out when he sees Kelly buried under rubble. The EMT’s begin to clear away the debris and Kevin gets his first look of his fiancé and son half-naked in a compromising position. . .
