One Life to Live Recap for the week of May 1 - May 5, 2006

Nat knows that she has to tell someone about this and turns to Van. While Marcie and Mike are reciting their vows to each other, Van and Nat seek out of the church. Van wonders what was so important, Nat shows her the sketch and the picture. Cris interrupts them to see what they are doing. Nat, against Van’s wishes, tells Cris that David was the person who shot Thomas McBain. Nat wants to tell John ASAP, Van makes convinces her to wait until the end of the ceremony.

As Mike and Marcie are reciting their wedding vows, the storm outside intensifies – causing the doors in the church to fly open thus extinguishing all the candles, as well as causing the church to lose power. Mike calms everyone down while John and other relight the candles. Rex looks over at Adriana, he can see that she is somewhat perturbed and goes to see if she’s ok. Adriana shows Rex her cell phone – to which she just got a message indicated that her stalker could see what she is wearing. Afraid for Adriana, Rex convinces her to go back to his place.

Mike and Marcie are announced as husband and wife just as Van, Nat and Cris re-enter the church. John looks at the inquisitively, knowing that something is up. Mike and Marcie walk down the aisle and lead everyone to the reception. Blair tells Spencer that she doesn’t want to go because it’s hard for her to see everyone else so happy. Spencer understands and offers to take Blair home. Blair opts for a cab because Spencer has to make a speech at the reception. Duke is worried because Kelly and Kevin are still missing, Layla calms him down thinking that they probably wanted to be alone. Kevin and Kelly’s conversation erupts into a shouting match. Kelly doesn’t want their relationship to end, Kevin breaks off the engagement telling her to go have a kid with Duke. Kelly doesn’t understand how Kevin could be so cruel to her. Kevin thinks that the faster she sees that it’s over, the better it would be for both of them. After refusing to return the engagement ring, Kevin literally rips it off Kelly’s finger and storms of out the room leaving Kelly sobbing. Duke finds Kelly crying, huddled on the floor. Hesitant at first, Kelly tells Duke what Kevin said and about their wedding being called off. Duke goes in for a kiss, to which Kelly doesn’t reject.

Margaret reveals that she had a dream about the baby, David tells her that it wasn’t a dream – it was reality. Margaret doesn’t believe him until David recounts the events the night Margaret had her “dream.” Margaret decides to drop the charges on David, releasing him from prison, and she decides to let David help her find the baby. David snaps a picture of him and Margaret on his camera cell phone, to which he sends to Spencer. Spencer receives the picture and becomes enraged.

Tess and Nash are ready to take the baby home, Antonio is determined to stop them – not wanting the baby to go anywhere until the results of the paternity test are in. Tess is dead set on taking the baby home, Antonio tells them both to wait at the hospital – he ahs to take care of something. Nash can’t wait for the results of the test, just so that he and Antonio can stop arguing and dancing around the truth. Tess admits that she is scared about finding out the results of the test, Nash assures her that there is a slim chance that Antonio is the father. Nash calls a doctor, to which the doctor agrees to sign the release forms for Tess and the baby. Antonio returns and tells them they can’t take that baby, on account of a court order that stipulates the baby stays at the hospital until the results of the test are in. Nash wants to know how Antonio got a court order so fast, Antonio admits that he called in a few favors to friends at the police station and courthouse. Rex brings Adriana back to his apartment, unfortunately the lights are out. Rex goes down the basement to play with the fuse box, hoping to get the lights to come back on.

Meanwhile, Adriana’s stalker admits himself into Rex’s apartment. John stops Van, Nat and Cris from leaving the church until he can talk to them in private. John wants to know what’s going on between them. Nat shows him the picture of David and the sketch. John instantly knows that David is the boy in the sketch. John is furious and tries to leave the church. Nat saw the anger in his eyes and knew if John found David, he would kill him. As John opens the doors of the church, a tornado touches down causing the doors to close. John turns around and yells for everyone to get away from the windows. Just as he says this, the windows crash in, causing pillars to fall and pews to be thrown around – covering everyone in debris. . .
