One Life to Live Recap for Thursday, March 31, 2005

Viki and Kelly meet up to finalize plans for Nora’s big surprise. Nat enters the room and is ready to go. Jess, still in her robe, opts not to go to the brunch for Nora but promises to be at the wedding. Kelly hands Jess a letter that was delivered to her house. Jess opens the letter as the other leave.

Nora is getting ready for her wedding shower as Dan shows up. Fearing bad luck, she tells him to leave and then covers her face. Dan runs up to take a shower. Riley stops by to say that he and Jen broke up and now he can’t help but think that Jen really did kill Paul. Dan overhears Riley. Kelly shows up and is ready to take Nora to the Palace. Dan pops out of the bathroom and acts surprised to see Riley there. Riley expresses his fear that Jen killed Paul. Dan is sorry that they broke up, but says that if Jen did kill Paul she probably had a good reason, perhaps to protect Riley. Riley, still skeptical, is beginning to see that Jen may have killed Paul.

Jen spent the night with rex and is just waking up as he lays next to her a kisses her. Jen opens her eyes and is startled to see Rex instead of Riley. Rex reminds her that she walked out on Riley and promises that nothing happened between them. Jen notices 2 suitcases near the door. Rex has a plan to skip town so that Jen doesn’t have to go to jail. Jen, at first thinks that it’s a crazy idea, but agrees to run away with Rex.

Antonio meets Van at Capricorn; he is ready to confront RJ about stealing money out of his account. Van warns him not to give RJ any more ammo than he already has. RJ and Lindsay show up. Antonio confronts RJ about the money and RJ insists that he didn’t take it, as he suggests that Jess took it. Antonio knows that Jess wouldn’t lie to him. Lindsay defends RJ by saying that she saw Jess in the club too. Van pulls Antonio aside; RJ threatens to call the police. Van and Antonio leave. Lindsay also has to leave for a meeting with an artist. RJ says that he might skip Nora’s wedding to spend the night with Lindsay. They kiss as Lindsay leaves.

Renee is getting the final preparations ready for Nora’s shower. Van, Nat and Viki arrive at the same time. Coincidentally, Van and Nat are seated next to each other. They try to make small talk, but it doesn’t go very well. Kelly and Nora show up. All are present and ready to begin. Renee announces that they have a surprise for Nora. Rachel, Nora’s daughter, runs out from behind a curtain to embrace her mother.

Jess stops by Antonio’s loft. Antonio tells her that he suspects RJ stole money from him. Jess tells Antonio not to worry about it and tries to make him see that he, not RJ, will get custody of Jamie. Jess shows Antonio the letter she received, which says that he stalker moved out of the country. Antonio doesn’t believe that Jess is safe yet. Jess just wants to live her life right now. Jess goes into the hall and brings in a present for Jamie, a rocking horse. Antonio goes to put it in Jamie’s room. Jess looks though her purse and finds a wad of $100 bills.
