One Life to Live Recap for Friday, March 25, 2005

Blair... out on the ledge of the hospital where she has been held against her will... first does not believe it is Todd there to rescue her... having thought him dead... but then realizes it is Todd after all. She is now too scared to move. She is about 4 steps over when Todd tries to grab her but she moves away. She is very frightened. She finally grasps reality and tries to scoot over, gets dizzy and almost falls. Todd pulls her back. Blair is dizzy and scared and can't move so Todd gets out on the ledge to help her.

Marcie, the writer of the book The Killing Club, is beside herself worrying and talks to Evangeline while her (Evangeline's) bf John the cop goes looking to investigate Hudson's death to see if it was intentional and therefore a copy cat murderer is out there loose in Llanview. Yes he discovers, this is not an accidental death but another homicide. John, checking out the fire at Hudson's, confirms the worst.

A string was strung across the stairs to trip Hudson and the fire was started by gas cans intentionally left out on the stop, meant to finish him off, just like in the book. John returns to Evangeline's where Marcie is waiting. What club were they all part of? John asks. They all knew me, Marcie answers. A gloved hand reads The Killing Club and writes names down. #1) Hudson. #2) Julie. Both names crossed out. #3)
Ut oh. Who will be next?

Australian hunk says goodbye to the beautiful blonde in his hotel room. He is smitten. Tess, Jessica's alter... has dressed in her black dress and tall black boots and gets her Australian trick to mail her a letter from Australia. She tells him to address the letter to her dorky stamp collecting friend Jessica Buchanan at 1177 Regency Drive (must be Llanfair)... The note says... I Give Up, written in the same cut out letter way just like the stalker's notes (proof Jessica has been stalking herself).

Viki talks to Natalie about Roxy. Natalie admits she likes the way Roxy has locked her and John in an evidence room and the surprise party too. But as Viki states, even if John returns her feelings he is not free to act on them. (She tells the story of how by the time she decided to reconcile with Clint he had already married Lindsey.) Viki advises Natalie if she is just going to wait for John to be free she will never know what is out there waiting for her.

Starr is at the diner with Kelly and Kevin. Starr raises the fact she was the only one who believed in her Dad before and turns out she was right. Starr thinks if she gets in the way at the police station they might actually do something. Starr excuses herself to go to the ladies room. Kelly and Kevin discuss the charges against Viki. Kevin feels the Governor is just looking for something to use against him and how can't get any bills passed like he is being stonewalled or something. He thanks Kelly for listening. Kelly goes to the ladies room to check on Starr but realizes Starr is gone. Kevin goes after her.

Antonio tells Carlotta he will get Jamie back. [I still can not believe Antonio inherited Tico's money -- what about Tico's wife? Obviously Tico left no will cause I don't think he would have willed Antonio anything... Why didn't Tico leave it to his sister or some charity or something...]. Antonio tries to give his mother some money but all she will accept is a new ice machine for the diner.

Tess comes on to Louie the guard at Llanfair to get back into the house unannounced. He agrees to let her in that door. But when she see that Viki and Natalie are in there talking she decides to go in through the front door.

Kevin catches up with Starr at the Love Center en route to the police station. Starr gives him a chance because he is the one who found and saved her dad. Kevin calls Kelly and tells him he will take care of Starr. Kelly thanks him. Kevin tells Starr he cried when he lost Ace. Starr might have cried on Kevin's shoulder but it was off screen. Kelly and Antonio say hi and chitchat with each other at the diner. They discuss Jamie and Jessica. Kelly says she knows a good lawyer-- Evangeline. Already hired, Antonio says.

Jessica, now safely inside the house at Llanfair, has changed into a silk robe and is trying to be quiet but is overheard and ditches something (a glass of vodka?) under the desk almost caught by Viki and Natalie. Viki asks her what is wrong and says she is clearly not herself. VIki asks her in to sit with them. Jessica turns it around and says she is worried about her mom and can't believe the charges raised against her. Viki admires the way her girls get more upset when they think she has been wronged and asks for a hug from them both. Jessica rolls her eyes (we see she is still the alter and doesn't like the hug).

Bo bangs on the door and tells Todd he is going to screw up. "Manning, you're gonna blow it", he yells. Todd is now out on the ledge to rescue Blair or to die along with her.
