One Life to Live Recap for Friday, March 18, 2005

Todd tells Viki he has tried everything. Starr and Viki don't believe Todd when he says he will let the police handle it. He neglects to tell his sister the truth about what Margaret did to him. Starr (who is having a good hair day) yells at Bo when he stops by - what is he doing, why hasn't he found her mother yet? Todd tells Starr to go upstairs (she does the best 'I'm so frustrated' gesture). Bo admits to Todd his pa might have stashed Blair. Todd convinces Bo he will not go after Asa. Bo talks to Viki about Todd's new leaf and asks Viki how she is holding up.

Blair wakes up in a padded room. After having been through such a horrifying ordeal, it is really maddening Asa put her here. Her knocks are finally answered by a nurse who tells Blair that Windell is her home now. A place 'for people with emotional problems', just the thing to tell the unstable. I love the way the staff condescends to her.

Blair explains she needs to get home to her 2 children. Todd is dead, killed by a crazy woman who kidnapped him and then locked her in the truck of her car. She survived but needs to get home to them. Can the doctor help her. Yes he can he says. She will get help here. This woman is delusional after having had a disastrous relationship, the doctor tells the nurse, offering second hand info he was given from her 'father' (Asa).

Nora talks to Evangeline and her skepticism about marriage again. She has annoying habits, she admits. Will she mess it up again like she did with Bo. You never know someone until you live with them. How true.
Later they meet up and when Colson hugs Nora he is completely adorable.

Jen and Riley are home. After what happened to Julie all of their problems seem petty.... Ut-oh, there is Colson hiding in the corner. Having just planted some receipts in Jen's photo book, he is still in their house, but manages to get out before being noticed by either Jen or Riley. Too bad. Looks like Daniel is going to turn out to be a bad guy, just as we started to like him. Poor Jen. First love stolen by undeserving redhead (just like her mother), second love spoiled by boyfriend's father framing her for murder. She deserves better. Riley loves her and is sorry he almost destroyed some evidence (the printer [Here it the logical explanation regarding the printer... you see, in Llanview crappy dot matrix printers act like typewriters (with individual key strikes of a letter form, such as "a")... ]). Jen and Riley make out. She pulls his shirt down to reveal an awesome tattoo on his upper arm. Hot.

Rex talks to Bo down at the station. If Rex gathers evidence Bo will forgive him for borrowing a police file. Later Rex runs into Jen. Meanwhile Riley is home alone, plays his guitar, picks up the photo book and finds the receipts.

Roxy overhears Evangeline tell Nora how she and John started in the basement of that room they were locked in together... Roxy runs off. Natalie needs help insinuating herself into John's life...

Evangeline stops by to see her boyfriend at the police station. She spent the day helping her friend find a wedding dress. Oh, that explains it, John slips. No wonder she is so busy, John covers. Her professor is in town and would John like to join them for dinner this evening. It is important to her. When he agrees, Evangeline leaves happy with a big smile.

Roxy pretends to have evidence for John and tells him Julie was a vegan (?). After he leaves to go to the evidence room, Roxy tells Natalie to go to evidence room 6, Bo wants her, knowing full well that is where John has headed to work on the tire evidence from Julie Tanaka's car. Roxy locks them in, Eyes flutter. Llanview has an awful lot of unsolved murders and now the DA is out there planting evidence in his son's apartment.

Dorian, David and Adriana talk in the kitchen at La Boulet. Why is it so important about this feud with Mrs. Davidson? Adriana asks her mother. Dorian blames Viki for everything. Here is her list 1) she got her fired from the hospital 2) publicly humiliated her and 3) convinced Blair to return to Todd and look what happened. Adriana uses her trump card. Was it anymore unforgivable than abandoning her daughter for all those years. Yes, it was dangerous and she did it for her safety. But Dorian is so smart, why couldn't she figure out a way. If Adriana can forgive Dorian why can't Dorian forgive Mrs. Davidson.
