One Life to Live Recap for the Week of February 13 - February 17, 2006

Blair goes to see Todd to beg him to fight for his life and file and appeal. Todd says that the only way he will do so is if Blair could look him in the eyes and tell him that he’s innocent. Blair explains that she can’t do that, Todd asks to be taken back to his cell. Spencer goes to see Margaret to make sure that she is ok, Margaret figured out that Spencer wants to be with Blair. Spencer admits that she’s right, Margaret also figures out that Spencer won’t save Todd – rather he’ll let Todd die. Spencer, again, tells her that she is correct. Spencer dons a pair of gloves and begin to choke Margaret, he leaves the alleyway and finds Blair in the Diner. Blair runs off at the sight of Spencer, not wanting to talk to him. Mike and Marcie sit down at the Diner to share a sundae. Marcie gets a phone call and has to leave for a minute. Mike hides an engagement ring inside the sundae – a surprise for Marcie. Marcie comes back and at the last minute Mike changes his mind, spilling the sundae all over Marcie. Marcie is furious, but Mike covers up by saying there was a peanut in the whipped cream – Marcie is allergic to peanuts. Marcie forgives him and they go to UV for the Valentine’s Day party. David overhears Paige making a call to the warden at Statesville asking permission to see Todd. David wants to know why she wants to see Todd, Paige reveals that she knows something that could save Todd’s life. David thinks Spencer killed Margaret, Paige tells him that he’s wrong but Spencer is involved. Paige goes to see Todd. Bo arrives at the cabin, along with Nash, Antonio and Clint. Nash finds a “Dear John” letter from Tess and runs off in search of her, despite Clint’s warnings not to. Antonio follows Nash, determined to find Jessica not Tess. Clint knew that Niki would be trouble, Bo thinks Clint still has feelings for Viki. Clint admits he does – only because she is the mother to his kids. Bo asks about Clint’s rendezvous with Dorian but is interrupted by a phone call from Paige. IN a mysterious way, she tells him that she loves him no matter what happens. Niki instructs the truck driver, Travis, to take her to the “Hot Spot” ~ the bar where she took Jessica years ago. Tess, who was sleeping, wakes up and overhears Niki’s plan to find the man that hurt Jessica. Tess demands that she be let out. Travis lets her out and continues down the road with Niki, they come to a road block wherein Niki hides and then they are on their way to the bar. Tess is wandering around, kicking herself for getting out of the truck. She decides to flag down an oncoming car. She is successful and it happens to be Nash driving. Paige goes to see Todd, she tells Todd that he is being set up. . .

Todd demands to know who is setting him up, Paige explains that she can’t tell him who it is. Todd suspects that it’s Spencer. Nat receives flowers and is elated, thinking they are from John. They turn out to be from her father. John meets with Bo and Crosby, John accepts the job to escort Todd to jail but doesn’t like it. Bo explains that he has to show IAD that he is willing to cooperate and follow orders. Nat sees John and tells him to be careful, Todd can be a pistol. John promises to be careful. David joins Roxy outside, they share a few chocolates and beer together. Mike and Marcie show up at Angel Square, Mike profusely apologizes for spilling the sundae. Marcie wants to go home and change, but Mike tries to propose to her. David and Roxy watch on, Roxy thinking it’s romantic while David thinks it’s a mistake. Marcie takes off to change her clothes, leaving Mike standing alone. Roxy goes over to him and explains that he’s making the right choice, David tries to dissuade him from proposing. Antonio is looking all over for Jessica, but can’t find her. He inadvertently steps in a bear trap and gets his foot caught in it. Antonio tries to wedge his foot out but can’t and begins to lose consciousness. He hears Jessica’s voice and miraculously musters up enough strength to dislodge his foot and limp on to find Jessica. Nash tries to explain that he’s not in love with Jessica, Tess doesn’t believe him. Tess starts to get a headache and Jessica tries to come out but she keeps Jessica locked inside. Nash kisses Tess to show that he’s not falling for Jessica. Tess finally believes him and they drive home. Renee brings Matt to the Palace, Asa is waiting there for them – to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Renee. Renee gets called to the kitchen, leaving Asa and Matt to talk about things. Wherein they talk about love, life and Nora’s recovery. Renee overhears and knows that Nora will be fine. Asa asks Renee to take Matt to the hospital to see Nora, after accepting Asa tells Renee that he really does love her. Renee returns the response, then brings Matt to see Nora. Asa is alone, he brings out the picture of the mysterious woman in the picture Spencer left in his lodge. . .
