The Bat Cave—Batgirl, Live On Broadway!

Todd , disgusted, screams out that Mags is not Blair! No amount of blonde wigs, clothing or southern accents will make Looney Mags into Blair. Mags tells him he’s very wrong, and turns on a videotaped recording of Blair’s New Year’s Eve performance at Ultra Violet. She starts lip-syncing the song Blair was singing, making crazy expressions and seductively removing her coat from her shoulders. Todd turns away in disgust. (I’m with you, Todd!)

Back at The Palace, Blair watches as Kelly tries again to reach Kevin, but gets his voice mail for the umpteenth time. The camera flashes to the mansion where Kevin is cooing at THE BABY and reaches for his ringing cell phone. He notices Kelly’s number and tells THE BABY that they won’t answer Kelly’s call just yet. Nigel comes in, asking Kevin if there is anything else Kevin will need that night, and Kevin tells him just to be sure he and THE BABY are not disturbed. Once the press gets wind of the infant’s return, they’ll be swarming around like bees. Nigel promises to keep the press at bay. Back to The Palace….

Kelly sighs in frustration at having been transferred to Kevin’s voicemail yet again, and Blair says, “Oh. Kevin’s avoiding you? Gee, what a surprise!” Kelly says she just wishes she could have gotten more out of Asa, but all we do is fight. Blair jumps up and tells Kelly, “Let’s go.” Where? Kelly says. To confront Asa, Blair says. What about Todd? Kelly asks. Blair tells her that she just finished telling her that she hit a standstill in the search for Todd and she has a whole lot of pent-up anger to release, so why not release it on Asa? Between the two of them, they’ll make that old coot spill the beans on everything he knows about THE BABY and Kevin, whether he likes it or not!

They head over to the mansion, girlish mischief spread across their faces like butter on bread, and Blair bangs on the door, demanding that Asa open up. Nigel emerges, wearing an agonized look, and tells Blair that Asa isn’t home. Blair pushes past Nigel and tells him that they’ll wait. Nigel asks what is the nature of her visit, and she replies that it’s for Asa’s ears only. Kelly tries to soften the blow a bit and starts to tell Nigel that they’ve been searching for Kevin all night…just as Blair opens the door to the family room and finds Kevin and THE BABY.

Kelly is upset to find that Kevin didn’t listen to her. What has he done? What does it look like I did? I got our son back to where he belongs! But…Kelly says..No buts! Kevin says. I’m his father in the eyes of the law, and that same law branded Babe Chandler and Jamie Martin the kidnappers! That’s it! Kelly, very distraught, quietly asks Blair to excuse them, Kelly needs to talk to Kevin alone. Blair reluctantly, but with understanding, grants Kelly’s request. She tells Kelly to call if she needs her, then she leaves.

Kelly turns to Kevin and says, “This is so WRONG!” He should be with his MOTHER! Kevin pleads his case, saying that he’s well aware that the fight isn’t over. The Chandlers are going to come after him with guns blazing, and that’s why he and Kelly need to stand united in a strong front. WHAT? Kelly says, I told you that he would be better off with his birth mother! Why couldn’t you just trust and believe me? He’d be better off with strangers? Look at him, Kelly! Kevin, he was better off with his mother, the woman who gave birth to him and Jamie. He was safe with them. Now he’s going to be in the middle of a nast custody battle between the Buchanans and the Chandlers!
