Fan Recap for One Life to Live

From Richard Schwertfager, for About.com

Margaret returns to the cabin and is dead set on having a baby that night. She gives Todd a cup of coffee with a drug in it that will get him in the mood. Todd cuts his way through the restraints, but makes it look like he’s still tied up so Margaret doesn’t go berserk. Margaret goes to make herself a cup of tea, when she returns she promises to use the gun on Blair if Blair should get too close to the truth. Margaret notices that the ropes are cut and pulls the gun on Todd as she ties him up again.

John tells Bo about the piece of latex belonging to a glove owned by either him or Mike. Bo is sorry to say that all of the evidence is pointing to Mike right now. John asks Bo to keep the information under the table for a little while. Bo, apologizing, can’t do that but suggests they go to the hospital and try to re-create the murder scene.

Jess re-reads the letter. Antonio suggests he take the letter to a handwriting expert. Jess wants to handle this all by herself and doesn’t need Antonio to be overprotective, like he was when they were together. Antonio repeatedly apologizes for that. Jess blatantly tells him that they will never get back together. Cris fears that he is a danger to Nat and wants to leave. Nat loves him and doesn’t want him to go, asking how he can be dangerous. Cris thinks that he is stalking Jess and just blocking it out of his mind. Nat doesn’t think that Cris is capable of doing that or even writing a letter. Cris runs to Jess to see what the letter looks like. Cris examines the letter and Nat determines that Cris didn’t write it.

Blair, Dorian, David and Starr are paying their respects to Mrs. Bigelow. Blair signs Todd’s name in the book. Dorian asks why she did that. Blair reasons that Todd would’ve wanted to be there for Mrs. Bigelow. As Blair is thanking Mrs. Bigelow for all her work and saying that she didn’t deserve to die, Mrs. Bigelow opens her eyes and tells Blair that she’s really not dead. Blair freaks out as Dorian tries to calm her down. David and Starr go get the car ready. Blair figures out that Mrs. Bigelow was telling her a message – to say that she survived the fall and use her as bait to lure Margaret to the hospital.

Mike, Bo and John arrive at the hospital. Paige has pulled Mike’s log to determine where he was when Tico was killed. The file proves that Mike had no alibi. Paige asks why he needs an alibi. Mike tells her that he is now a suspect in killing Tico. Paige promises to keep it quiet and not bring it to the Board of Directors attention. John suggests the killer might’ve gotten a pair of used gloves from the trashcan. Paige goes to get the janitorial log. John expresses his concern to Bo that Paige might not be trusted. Bo assures John that Paige is on their side and suggests he take John off the case. John explains that he is so close to the truth and promises not to let his personal effects get in the way.

Cris reminds Nat of when he was in the hospital. Nat remembers that Cris was going to tell him something and wonders what it was. Cris has a flashback of when he was in the hospital ~ Mike examines him and then throws a pair of gloves in the trashcan, Cris picks them out. Nat tells Cris that she is really worried about him and wishes that he would seek some type of help. Cris agrees to call a shrink in the morning.

Paige returns with the log and determines that the trashcan in Tico’s room was emptied before Tico was killed. Mike thinks that he is now in more trouble. Bo tells him not to worry because the killer could’ve gotten them out of another trashcan. John calls Jess to see if she remembers whom the killer is. Jess tells John that she still doesn’t know and lets him know not to count on her for vital information. John tells her to try harder to remember.

Marcie goes to see John but Van is in his office. Van asked what she wanted to see John for. Marcie spills out the piece of latex and where it came from. Marcie then asks Van to take Mike’s case. Van can’t because she is all ready representing Antonio but thinks that Mike will be cleared. Marcie hopes so because she still does care about Mike. Van admits that she and John haven’t been emotionally in synch. Marcie tells her that she’s not the person she should be going to for advice. Van hopes that everything works out okay for her and Mike.

Antonio tells Jess that he is worried about her, after overhearing the conversation between her and John. Jess tells him that she doesn’t need a babysitter and can take care of herself. Antonio suggests that the Killer saw Jess and now the killer is stalking her. Jess admits that she never thought of that and agrees to get the handwriting checked on the letter, but she wants to do it herself.
