One Life to Live Recap for the Week of January 16 - January 20, 2006

Blair blatantly admits that Todd had the rage in him to kill Margaret but not his baby. Van tries to give reasonable doubt, saying Blair could’ve killer Margaret. Todd tells Van to go easy on Blair. After Van finishes questioning Blair, Kevin is called up to the stand. Hugh asks him about the night he caught Todd with his hands around Margaret’s neck. Kevin explains that he heard Todd and Margaret fighting, saying Todd would’ve killer Margaret if he hadn’t stopped him. Van brings up the point that Margaret had a gun in her possession, to signify that Todd was restraining Margaret in self-defense. The judge orders the court in recess, Todd tries to get Blair to understand that he is still innocent. Blair walks out, saying that she’s done listening to him. John stops by to see how things are going for Van. They both talk about their bad days, Van admits that she doesn’t think she’ll convince the jury that Todd is innocent. Blair goes to see Spencer, hoping he can comfort her rather than Todd. . .

Rex reports to Todd, saying that Denton didn’t confess. Rex thinks that Todd’s chance of being set free is slim, Todd wants Rex to talk to Blair about believing in him. Rex reminds Todd he’s got a club to run and can’t be running errands for Todd. Tess finds Claudia at a rehab center. Tess tells her that she is in love with Nash, and wants Claudia to talk to her father about leaving Nash alone. Claudia doesn’t believe that her father could beat Nash up, she starts to freak out when Tess tells her that they plan to have a life together. Claudia explains that Nash is dangerous, Tess slips and tells about the baby. Claudia flips out, knowing that Tess is living a life with Nash she should’ve been living with him. Nash runs around town trying to find Tess, showing a picture. Nash runs into Cris, Cris thinks that Tess doesn’t want to be found. Nat sees them talking. Cris tells Nash who he is and thinks that they should come up with a plan to bring Tess back safely. Cris sides with Nash about his feelings for Tess, Nash thanks him for the support and realizes that Tess went to find Claudia. Nat can’t believe Cris is taking Nash’s side over his bother. Dorian and Adriana are trying, feebly, to run Craze. Dorian is overwhelmed with the responsibility. David stops in to help, Adriana suggests Dorian hire him back. Dorian refuses to do so. Spencer calls David and tells him to talk to Blair about dumping Todd. David reluctantly agrees to find Blair. Rex stops in, Dorian brings his ad to the advertising department. Rex and Adriana, again, talk about their feelings for one another and again about why they can’t be together. Blair returns to the courthouse, with Spencer right behind her. Blair wants Spencer’s help to forget about Todd. Spencer reminds Blair that he is there for her whenever she needs him. David shows up to tell Blair that she should dump Todd for good, Blair explains that she doesn’t want David’s help and doesn’t want to hear anymore from David. Blair storms off. Spencer thanks David for the great performance. David wants to know why he just put Blair thru that, Spencer wanted confirmation that Blair really wanted to get over Todd. David is disgusted at his brother’s actions and leaves. Spencer remember the night he and Margaret met to talk about her meeting Todd. Margaret was ecstatic that Todd was reaching out to her, Spencer reminded Margaret that Todd is dangerous. When Margaret goes to change, Spencer tells himself that Todd might not have been able to kill Margaret, he could. . .

A photographer shows up to photograph a model for the next cover of Craze, Adriana knows nothing about this and immediately called the model agency. Rex, knowing how much Adriana wanted to be a model, deters the real model from entering the photo shoot. Adriana decides that she will model for the cover, Rex is in awe as Adriana comes out in a sexy outfit and gawks over her as she poses for the camera. Bo visits Todd in his cell before the trial. Todd asks Bo to make sure he’s absolutely sure he caught the right man. Bo has all the confidence in the world that Todd is the right guy. John shows up in court and tells Van that Todd is lucky to have her as an attorney. Dorian and David show up, not together, to watch the demise of Todd Manning. Blair and Spencer enter the courtroom, Blair admits that she can’t hear Todd give his testimony and asks Spencer to stay and listen in for her.
