One Life to Live Recap for the Week of January 16 - January 20, 2006

Dorian and Adriana try to cheer Blair up, Blair tells them that she is not going to the trial. Blair asks Dorian and Adriana to take over Craze so Blair can focus on her children. Blair changes her mind and opts to go to the trial. Dorian and Adriana brainstorm about the next issue of Craze. Nat catches Tess trying on Nat’s wedding dress, Tess tears it off and throws it at Nat. They fight about Cris, Nash and John. Nat thinks Tess should break up with Nash – feeling that Nash is after Jess’ money. Nash is in a good mood, Antonio thinks he put on a good act. Nash reminds Antonio that Tess forgave him. Nash and Antonio go at it again. Antonio plans to raise the baby, no matter who’s it is – citing that Tess won’t exist when Jess is integrated. Nash calls Llanfare – no answer prompts both Nash and Antonio to investigate – they find Llanfare empty. Tess sneaks into the hospital to destroy her amnio sample, but is caught by a doctor. Tess throws around the Buchanan name and the doctor agrees not to tell anyone he saw her. Tess destroys her DNA sample. Van visits Cris to cheer him up, but she can see he’s feeling better because Cris is working on a painting. Van tells Cris not to give up on Nat, Cris vows to get Natalie back. Van commissions Cris to paint her a picture of anything, Cris plans to use Van as his subject. Van is upset over having to cross-examine John, Cris tells her that she will find her soul mate soon. John arrives for his second appointment with Dr. Ed Crosby, John disagrees with the doctors report. Dr. Crosby sits John down to explain to him that John has to let go of his father’s death. John leaves to go testify in court. Ed calls Nat and has her come into the office. With Nat gone, Tess leaves Llanfare. Ed talks about the aftermath of the riot, Nat gives all the details of the riot. Mike and Marcie talk about their relationship, they intend to forget about their pasts and focus on the future. Hugh walks in on them kissing and congratulates them on getting back together. Rex reports that he didn’t find Denton yet but is working on tracking him down, Todd hopes Blair isn’t falling for Denton’s scheme. Rex gets a call – Denton is at the Palace bar. Rex finds Denton at the Palace, with a wire, but fails to get Denton to admit setting up Todd. Hugh calls John to the stand – John gives a testimony that almost proves Todd is guilty, Van has to cross-examine him and using Dr. Crosby’s visits to discredit him. John returns to Ed’s office and finds Nat there. Hugh objects and Van’s questioning of John is overruled. Blair is called up to the stand. . .

Rex and Adriana continue to bicker about why they can’t be together. Rex meets a confidant of his to discuss the whereabouts of Paige’s son. Adriana meets and flirts with a guy she meets at the bar. Neither one could stop looking at the other one. Jess tries to convince Tess not to destroy the sample but she does. Antonio and Nash search frantically for Tess, they formulate a plan to work together to find her. Tess returns home, Antonio and Nash agree not to fight over her anymore – one the test is done they will know who the baby’s father is. Nash goes to get food for them, Antonio takes a phone call – Tess sneaks to use the phone. Tess calls an information service to locate Claudia. Tess slips out of Llanfare unnoticed and heads for the train station. David approaches Spencer about the picture, Starr and Jack interrupt – they want help to see their father. Spencer explains to Jack that his dad will be home soon. Paige can’t believe that Spencer is using Jack to get to Blair, Paige confronts David about Spencer’s plan for the Buchanan’s. David claims that he knows nothing. Carlotta brings food to Cris, who was painting a portrait of a black wedding dress – to show that he is trying to get over Natalie. Carlotta tells him not to give up hope. John is furious with Nat, thinking she went in there to set him up. Nat reveals the reason she thought she was going there, John reverts his anger towards the doctor and tells Ed where to shove his Internal Affair report. John thanks Nat for sticking up for him, Nat promises that she would’ve never kept him in the dark. Nat visits Cris to give him the cufflinks he wore at their wedding, Cris reveals that the cufflinks were his fathers and never wore before the wedding. Nat sees the painting and explains that she’s giving the dress to charity. Cris hopes that whoever gets the dress – their marriage turns out better.
