One Life to Live Recap for the Week of January 3 - January 6, 2006

Marcie shows up at the courtroom to wish Hugh good luck, Hugh tells her that he doesn’t need luck because he feels the case is airtight. Van tells Hugh not to be so cocky, because he could be wrong. Marcie meets Mike at the Diner. Mike wants to know how to get John to open up and talk more. Marcie tells Mike that he should be concerned with himself, not his brother. They share a meal together. Van and Hugh both give compelling opening statements. John shows up to support Van. The judge calls for a recess, Blair goes up to the bench to see Todd. Todd wants to make sure that Blair still believes he is innocent, after Blair reaffirms that she believes Todd is innocent and loves him Todd is taken back to his cell. Blair sits down and starts to cry. . .

Dorian and Adriana are trying to cope with losing the loves in their lives. Dorian suggests a shopping spree, while Adriana wants to deal with it on her own. Viki stops over to thank Dorian for the gift and for helping revert Niki. Dorian mentions that Niki told her to go after Clint and Dorian is deciding to do it, Viki is uneasy with that and tries to get David and Dorian back together. Dorian doesn’t want David anymore, she would like to date Clint. Viki doesn’t think that dating Clint is a good idea, Dorian will ask him out anyway. Viki storms out of Dorian’s house. Rex comes to Roxy for some motherly advice about his life, but she doesn’t exactly give him what he needs. Nat stops by, find out that Adriana walked in on him and tells him to stop resisting Adriana if he loves her. Roxy tells Nat not to rush into a divorce, Nat knows that a divorce is what she wants. Bo and Clint are talking about their problems with their kids. Clint feels helpless concerning Jess, while Bo wishes he could bring Nora out of the coma for his son. Clint tells Bo that Niki is back and has something up her sleeve. Clint reveals that he kissed Niki to get Viki out, Bo thinks the kiss was more than just to revert Niki. Clint isn’t looking for a relationship right now, wanting to channel his energy to help Jess. Viki runs into Clint at the police station. Before they can say anything, Viki is served with a subpoena. Van goes to see Antonio, who received information about a previous restraining order against Nash. Antonio starts to talk about John, Van quickly changes the subject. Layla steals Van for their lunch date, wherein Layla feels that Van should start looking for a new man. Van doesn’t want anyone right now, citing that she is too busy. Van gets up to leave, Adriana comes in and talks with Layla about her faulty relationships. John and Cris spar a couple of rounds, Cris tells John about the divorce and thinks John is happy about it. John tells Cris that he’s not happy about anything that happened, noting that Nat doesn’t want him at all. Cris knows John won’t give up on Nat. Nash and Tess talk about the baby, Tess fears that it is Antonio and Jess’ while Nash is confident that it’s his. Nash wants to get the paternity test before Antonio can, he also wants Tess to tell him what happened to Jess as a little girl. Tess refuses to tell him what happened fearing that if Jess knows the truth, she won’t need Tess anymore. Antonio stops over to ask about Nash’s previous restraining order. . .
