Stacy Morasco

Copyright by ABC Daytime, 2009
And speaking of manipulators, Stacy finds a way to get into Mitch's room. She such a little fool that she is intrigued by him and plays right into his hands. He's thrilled to see her and lets her know that he knows all about her and her history with his son Rex. He informs Stacy that he can give her what she wants if she gives him what he wants. It turns out that he admits that his children have been a disappointment to him. Rex wants nothing to do with him and Jessica hates his guts. He wants some fresh, untarnished meat to join his flock; someone he can manipulate to be his heir. Stacy, the little twit, doesn't get it so Mitch tells he in no uncertain terms that he can get Rex to be with her for the rest of her life and all he wants in return is her baby. He wants Rex's child but what baffles me is that Mitch knows everything about everyone, so why doesn't he know that the baby is not Rex's child? Or does he really know that? It makes no sense that he would know everything about everyone, including what color underwear they have on, but he doesn't know that very important fact about what Stacy has been up to.

Of course Stacy, being the dedicated mother to be that she is, isn't horrified by Mitch's offer. She couldn't care less about that baby, especially since it doesn't belong to Rex and all she has ever really wanted was Rex. The baby was a necessary evil for her and if she can get what she wants, she won't care if the bay is collateral damage.

Mitch doesn't waste any of his time while lying on his back in the hospital. He wants Dorian to do his bidding and when she gets that picture he sent threatening her girls, she shows up at the hospital, too. Mitch is having a ball handcuffed to that hospital bed, isn't he? Dorian is furious with him and he lets he know that he wants something from her and that something is that he wants her to fire Bo. Sure, he needs someone he can manipulate at the police station and as mayor, Dorian is the one who can give him what he wants. She refuses at first because she has no reason to fire Bo and she claims to really want to do an admirable job as mayor. She leaves Mitch, thinking she made her point, but later on she gets the scare of her life when she is at home celebrating Christmas with her family and Mitch calls asking her how they are enjoying the eggnog. Dorian becomes frantic and tosses the bowl of eggnog before anyone can drink it. She has it analyzed and finds out it was indeed poisoned which sends her right back to Mitch who is hysterical laughing. That was low even for Mitch, who could have killed six or seven people right there and then. Dorian is now terrified and agrees to do Mitch's bidding. Oh great!

And it is Christmas in Llanview and I have to say that I am a sap for the holidays on soaps, especially when nice things happen for a change. Bo and Nora get to spend some time together at the hotel, but they can't really be together yet because of all that has happened and to me that sucks but they do give each other very cute gifts. Nora gives Bo a fishing trip and Bo gives Nora the gift of dancing. They used to enjoy so much together and I can't wait to see them do it again. Dorian gets to be with her girls; Jess gets to have a lovely moment with Brody where he gives her a beautiful necklace for Christmas. I really like these two together and I hope we get to see a lot more of them before Mitch does his best to destroy their family.
